Bhoomika Zaveri who paired with Shweta Menon for Dancing Queen was voted out of the show last week. But Bhoomika says she has no regrets as the show has worked for her.
"I got a huge platform to work on. I have leucoderma and people used to treat me differently. However because of this show now I can go anywhere and people have started giving me respect. They look at me and ask me that aap dancing queen main ho na? I was emotionally broken but my mother is like pillar for me and she only suggested me that you can hide these marks with body make-up," says Bhoomika.
Speaking about her elimination, Zaveri says that although they are out she is yet to fathom what went wrong.
"We have must have made some mistake and that is why we are out of the show but I cannot figure out what went wrong in our case. Mentors nominated us because they were expecting more from us. Ultimately it is game and we were aware about the format of the show so it was quite clear to us from initial stages that mentors will nominate each other. And so there I do not feel that they have done anything wrong," Bhoomika explains.
Bhoomika is all praise for her mentor Shweta Menon. "She has given me lots of confidence. She always maintained that we are here for work and not for back biting and since we are from good families we should not get involved in such things. She has also put lots of positiveness in me. It was my luck that I got such a good mentor," she says.
And it is this confidence that is helping Bhoomika look ahead in life.
"I am very camera conscious…I get nervous when I stand in front of the camera but I have promised my mother that now I will not look back and I will move ahead. And so I am ready to accept shows…main meri maa ka naam roshan karma chahti hoon!"
