Realistic Cinema Vs Commercial Cinema

Bollywood is made up of two elements-Realistic Cinema and Commercial Cinema, We know that the latter is still more dominant in our country, but lately, there is an increase in the demand for realistic films too. Commercial films include movies like Om Shanti Om, Karzzz, Ghajini etc. and realistic films include movies like Page 3, Black Friday, Parzania etc

My question is, which type of Cinema do you think is better in all aspects? and why?

I personally would choose Realistic Cinema obviously because it shows reality and not fantasy, but the fact that Commercial Cinema is alone responsible for position of bollywood where it is today, cannot be ignored. Bollywood in the world is known for it's songs, happy endings and larger than life concepts.

So what is ur take on this?

I like commerical cinema better..

i perfer those kinds of movies.. i mean i honestly dont like realistic cinema.. like a wednesday, black friday.. yes obv. there interesting.. and send good messages...and yeah realistic cinema does show reality.. and i like to go to the movies and see dostana, or BAH .. i wanna see songs and like a masala film.. i dont wana sit in the theatres and watch something like black friday.. even though i've seen it and it was brilliant i just dont wanna watch those kinds of films.. commerical films are more easy going fun movies. that i think alot of ppl perfer to watch that over realistic cinema..

i like commercial cinema better cause i wanna watch something that will entertain me, have songs and stuff like that

Yes Realistic movies do send out fruitful messages which is good..but me alone..apart from the lovely cheesy hindi songs..at the end of a movie..i wud want to be smiling and not thinking too much about realism.. afterall movies are only for entertainment😳 watch,enjoy,smile😛
