Anushka: Even Shah Rukh Khan has faced flak

Anushka Sharma isn't overtly worried with little dose of negative feedback coming her way post the release of RAB NE BANA DI JODI. With positive feedback and accolades have obviously outweighed the negativity, especially with the film turning out to be a smash hit, Anushka is obviously ecstatic with the response that she and her film have enjoyed.
In the last 12 days, ever since the release of the film, she has been inundated with 'hazaar' congratulatory calls, compliments and bouquets. However, what has been the nastiest thing that she has heard about herself. Also, hasn't it impacted her?
'There hasn't been anything outright nasty words being told to me. Honestly speaking, the feedback has been quite positive and it has been far more, both qualitatively and quantitatively, than some of the negative stuff that came my way', smiles Anushka, 'Yes, there have been a few people who haven't liked me; they thought that I didn't quite do a good job. But that's ok, I pick things on merit.'
Isn't she being diplomatic here?
'No, it's not being diplomatic, it's being practical', she continues to smile, 'We are living in a country where Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest superstar that we have. Now doesn't he too go through a similar situation? In spite of all the talent and the stardom and his box office clout for close to two decades, he does face flak from a section (a small one at that) of audience which doesn't like him. I take consolation from the fact that when even he isn't being spared, then who am I?'
