I know with all the Ghajini mania that's surrounding this forum, most people have most likely already forgotten Rab Ne Bana Di. But I'd just like to tell those who haven't bothered to watch the movie because of the reviews written about this movie, to please watch it yourself and then judge whether you liked it or disliked.😊
I was personally very disheartened after reading RNBJ reviews. But because I'm a true blue fan of Shahrukh, I went over with a group of friends, to see it anyways. There I was sitting with less to no hopes at all. The movie started off a bit slow, and I was begining to think the movie had some sort of twist revolving around speechless people because the start was so silent. As the movie progressed into the first 30 minutes, I found myself pleasantly surprised. I was REALLY enjoying it! Infact it wasn't just me, everyone in the theatres was loving it.
I can't express how proud I am of Shahrukh for pulling off a character like Suri. Every little thing he did just made you wanna give a big hug. Right from the start when Suri came on screen, his sweet mannerisms just really brought a smile on my face. This time Shahrukh truly worked his magic. You could tell everyone in the theatre was so connected to Suri's character. The sweet things that he did made everyone laugh through out!😃Like when Suri put that rose on the table for Taani and then decided to put it back, great scene!😆😳 The intense love Suri had for Taani was just beautiful.😭 All those things he did for her......WOW. Sharukh went too deep into the root of his character, that I almost forgot that Suri was actually Shahrukh.
Then came along Raj.😉 Where Shahrukh was hamming, and man was everyone LOVING IT!!!😆 Honestly, I wasn't an eensy weensy bit annoyed with Raj's over the top character. He was meant to be like that. I was enjoying it thouroughly. He was a lot of fun!😛
Anushka has a really innocent face, she was lookin fresh as ever and was awesome in her role! She made a great contribution to the movie as well.
Also I'd like to say that this movie is not only a movie that should be watched. It should be felt. This movie is the sort of movie that hit me straight in the heart. This film didn't just have a body, but a soul too. Yes Suri is a little quiet, he is a little simple, maybe a bit boring too, but he's the most loving, adorable, sweet, cute, and caring guy you could ever find. He never directly show his love for Taani by saying it to her, he used to do it by always fullfilling her wishes. How beautiful.😭😳 I watched the movie last night but the movie still remains in my heart, not to sound cheesy or anything. I still have a HUGE smile on my face while writng this because of the affect of the movie. No one has to agree with me on this but I say this film for me has 100 % repeat value. Go watch it now, it WILL make touch you, make you laugh, cry, smile and walk out of the theatres saying "I'm soooo glad I watched it!"😃
