Priyanka Chopra's career is going great guns. With Rohan Sippy's Bluffmaster on the verge of release and with six films on the floor, Priyanka Chopra is happy with the way her career has shaped up. Yet the actress has always been cast as a replacement for Aishwarya Rai. "I am not indispensable. I am doing roles that I was offered. It does not matter who was offered the role first. We are all professionals. How does it matter if I was offered the role later? If I reject some role, it would be offered to someone else." Speaking about her role in the film Bluffmaster, she says, "I play the role of a girl called Simi who is in love with a conman (Abhishek). When she realises that he is a conman, she finds it difficult to forgive him. It's a delicate film and not a slapstick comedy. I have also sung a line in the film with Abhishek." She has often been linked with her co-stars — first it was Akshay Kumar and now Abhishek Bachchan. "I am glad that I'm working with him. He's just a good friend and I don't know why people are making an issue out of it. We had fun working together." Talking about Dharmesh Darshan's next film Aap Ki Khatir opposite Akshaye Khanna and Lara Dutta in the lead, she says, "Lara and I are playing sisters. I am working with her after a long time. I respect her a lot. She has helped me with my role in the film." When asked how she has improved as an actress, she says, "Everyday is a new learning experience for me. I experiment with every role that I do and look forward to each day with excitement. I am still learning." | ||
