She was roped in to play a princess in a prime time show. She enjoyed the look of her character clad in a designer sari. And the intricate jewelry just added loads of class to the royal look in the show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat . Though Kanika plays the second lead in the show, her role is very defined. But like most tracks in other shows, hers too went in for a change. "Change is understatement," she laughs. From the time Kanika Maheshwari's track in the show has taken the opposite route she has been having sleepless nights. "From palace, my role in the show has landed to the slums. Now I'm no longer the princess, living in the palace. According to the script of the show, I'm now picking up cow dung, milking the cows, and doing all sorts of terrible stuff," she says. Obviously, Kanika isn't too happy with this state. "Only I know how I'm shooting in this condition." But the worst happened a few days ago when Kanika was sitting on a chair waiting for her shot. "I was talking to my friend on the phone in between shots. Since there was a long break my conversation went on for too long. Suddenly, I realized that something strange was happening on my head. When I turned around I saw a cow licking my hair (tied in a bun). It was the most sickening thing I'd ever witnessed. I called for a pack up because I needed to wash my hair urgently." Despite all that there has been no improvement in Kanika's state. "I thought that after that fiasco, the unit members will make life a bit simple for me by choosing a better location but looks like I was asking for too much," she sighs. http://movies.indiatimes.com/News__Gossip/Television_News/Kanikas_hair_raising_tale/articleshow/3875627.cms |
