now the Indian media will put their own spin in the article saying "Aishwarya is too old now, Sonam is taking over her throne" yadda yadda yadda

Couldn't agree more, I doubt Loreal's PR endorsed that statement. But congrats to Sonam, I am glad to see her getting endorsements.

so typically desi!

L'Oreal has products for women depending on age. They have started this very recently I think. I saw their range of products in the stores and they have stuff for women in 30s, 40s and then 50s and above. Aish is now like 35. So it makes sense for her to endorse the 30s products.

But toally agree about the desi media in saying Sonam is taking over Ash's throne styled nonsense headings!! 😆 They are so obsessed with this King and Queen business as if Bollywood is some kind of a monarchy 😆

I'm glad they chose sonam, she's a fresh new face for that brand.
But then again, I remember Anil giving an interview after sawaariya saying that sonam won't be those girls who does ad commericals and be all over the tv. Well right now sonam is signed to Loreal.
Anyways good luck to her.

I'm happy for Sonam, she' s very beautiful and very natural. I'm sure she will be great in her first ad.
The Desi media are so useless. It's great to see 2 indians actresses in the L'oreal ad.
