Wow.. 2008 came and now is going to become memories and the past..
2008 in Kasamh Se has been pretty eventful.. We've had Prachi saying shes going to juggle the film life and Drama life.. she even said so in many interviews, however then came a sad time when she bid farewell and grew up to be Prachi Desai!
January 2008 we had the meerut storyline... what a joyful time that was - no seriously Thank Heavens it was a 5 year leap 😆
Bani hiding from Jai.. Jai tryin to smoke a cigar... Meera bein the sly wife! And Sweet Ganga makin her presense being felt.
There was the whole I-have-cancer storyline which triggered the is-prachi-leaving articles.. It was an emotional time but we got through it then came the mother of all shockers (hey read it correctly 😛)
Meera turned out to be the murderer of Atharva and Krishna Walia!! (But that was to suit Prachi's exit i suppose) Meera attempts to kill Bani by burning her alive.. I remember a post by Mamta at this point on the forum.. how organised! 😃
The dramatic end to Bani's life lead to a huge leap in KS where Jai ended up with Specs, Walking stick (which disappears 😆) and terrible taste in ties!!
Then came older kids on the block, Ganga, Krishna, Vicky,Varun and Vidya.. They have their own dreams in life. Krishna likes to earn everything she gets, Vicky and Ganga initially loved blowing their money on booze (alcohol) and clubs thennnnn came resposonsibility. Varun and Vidya are like the angelic kind.. where Varun learnt to speak! (science miracle I tell you)
We then suffered the Pronita stage! Oh how long did it take for her to realise she was Bani..? If she discovered faster atleast Jai wouldve been out of those terrible ties - eww i can see that blue and red stripe one (MY eyes are sore for life!)
Jigs had come to the scene with her fantastic one liners - remember that scene where she just insulted Karuna one after another? 😆 Ahh good times..
It was then revealed that Jigs had saved Bani and had given her another face inorder to take revenege from Meera.. they plan and suceed (it wasnt as simple as that line but you understand the K drama rules 😉😆)
After everything gets better, Meera is sent jail, Jigs reveals herself as Bani. Jigs turns her back on Bani and promises to take revenge like old times (2006) Ganga falls in love.. but she ends up marrying someone else - Rishi, a heart warming character with tonnes of charm! Like Father like daughter 😛
This year the xmas/new years storyline seems to be Veer - Jai's son with Pia (till proven) the news is that he is going to kill Pushkar.. and to see that storyline unfild dont forget to tune into Kasamh Se Monday - thursday 9pm 😉

The highlight of 2008 has to be my brithday thread and all the love/support I got for writing updates.. seriously, a few lines make a huge difference..
Writing updates has helped me in more ways then you can imagine.. my hindi has improved (i now use genders when speaking 😆) i can touch type pretty much any word, i can speak, type AND listen at the same time.. i can eat and type - well almost (my fav one! 😆) and ive also realised how much effort goes into writing updates or uploading videos..
My bithday thread.. what can i say about it.. I printed it out and laminated it 😆 Never had soo many wishes before.. 😳 and I've become 'human' (Tanu's words 😆) that i listen to slower songs then usual 😆
New Years Resolution: Not to spend so much on my family (they will complain 😆) and to get over my fears..
Feel free to write anything you wish about 2008 - may it be personal achievement or anything to do with KS... or post a thread that had stuck out in your head
