indya: They are the oldest couple on the show, but the youngest at heart... Yes, you got it right! This is Sachin and Supriya, one of the hot Jodis to make it to the Nach Baliye finals! They are here with us today to chat.

indya: Hi, Sachin and Supriya! Good afternoon and welcome to the chat on indya.com!

Guest48: How has your experience been on Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: Its a mixed bag of emotions. We started with lot of excitement and turned into a rigorous regime. When it's coming to an end, its almost warlike
ehaab123: Sachinji, do u think that you people will win Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: Nothing is sure. It all depends on our efforts and on the people's voting.
Guest48: Were there any apprehensions initially?
sachin_supriya: Not initially, but in between it was taking a toll on us. Maybe it was the age, but later, after the first five episodes, it was an effort. It was more tough because we are not dancers.
Guest48: Did you think you would come this far?
sachin_supriya: Oh, not at all. Infact, we were so scared of getting eliminated in the first round itself. We came this far only with the encouragement of the people.
Guest53: How do you feel being one of the finalist Jodis?
sachin_supriya: Great. (laugh) My daughter is very proud of us.
Guest13: What is your daughter's take on your performances?... Does she also dance as good as the both of you?
sachin_supriya: Oh, she dances very well. We are absolutely nothing in front of her. Just to make her proud, we want to do the extra step.
Guest58: Sachinji, yours and Supriyaji's age please?
sachin_supriya: Sachin is nearing 50 and I am nearing 40 - Supriya.
Guest48: Are either of you trained dancers?
sachin_supriya: Absolutely not.
Guest31: Hi Sachin and Supriya, how do u feel about Varun and Rajeshwari when they left?
sachin_supriya: We felt very sad, but this is a competition. And the minute they were eliminated, we came to know we were in the finals. And we vowed we will not do that kind of mistake on stage. The show has to go on.
Guest48: How much of your success do you owe to your choreographers?
sachin_supriya: 100 per cent, absolutely 100 per cent.
Guest48: Who do you think are better dancers - Sachin and Supriya or Al and Mel?
sachin_supriya: Of course, Al and Mel!
Guest13: How important is the prize money for you?
sachin_supriya: Just as important as it is for any child who gets an envelope with money in it. Whatever the amount, it feels good. The word prize is important, not the amount.
Guest13: You are the best Jodi... any special strategies to beat Manish and Poonam?
sachin_supriya: Not at all… Just trying our level best to compete with a couple who is full of energy and vibrance. We give them is our blessings.
Guest32: Have you shot for of the final episode?
sachin_supriya: No! It's going to be live!
sara_padam: I like both of you very much, you make a very cute couple after so many years of marriage, how do you both maintain the freshness like a newly married couple?
sachin_supriya: Thank you so much! For the new married look, I guess, taking part in Nach Baliye has helped us rediscover each other after 20 years of marriage.
Guest58: The actual winner is out in the previous episode, what do you say?
sachin_supriya: We believe that too...
Guest31: How did you feel when Varun and Rajeshwari got eliminated?
ehaab123: Sachin, how did you propose to Supriyaji?
sachin_supriya: I proposed to her through a friend because I was scared that she would reject me.
Guest48: For how long have you guys been married?
sachin_supriya: 20 years
Guest13: Sachinji, can we see a thorough dance from you both... the Lavani was excellent... something traditional.
sachin_supriya: Well, the songs for the finals has been given by the channel. But in the next Marathi film we are making, we will dance traditionally.
Guest48: How do you manage between your hectic schedules and dance practices?
sachin_supriya: We are managing it well because Sachin has postponed his film and I am active on stage. So I have shows for three or four hours only. We couldn't have managed it otherwise.
Guest13: How much weight have u both lost after starting Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: Sachin has lost nine kilos and I have lost only two - Supriya
Guest48: What prompted you to take part in Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: The novel concept because we have never danced. I have always wanted to dance like the actresses in films. So we decided to do this.
Guest48: What do you guys enjoy more, acting or dancing?
sachin_supriya: Acting as well as dancing now. It's another way of expression.
Guest32: Which song have you chosen for the final episode?
sachin_supriya: It's from the Nach Baliye Album. Wait till you watch the episode to find out what number.
Guest32: How did you feel when you have to bid farewell to the other Jodis?
sachin_supriya: The first time we felt miserable. From then on we were used to it, but despite thet, when Apurva-Shilpa and when Archana-Parmeet left, it felt very bad. When Varun-Rajeshwari left, it struck that we were in the finals.
Guest50: Sachinji, What do you think about the judging pattern in Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: The judges are entitled to their own views. We try and learn from them. But, if we take a tip or two from one judge, the other judge gives us another view. It just goes on… you have to respect that chair.
Guest32: According to you, who's the best dancing couple among the 10 Jodis?
sachin_supriya: We would like to believe now that one who comes closest to the concept of Nach Baliye are us and Archana-Parmeet.
Guest43: According to you, who is the worst Jodi?
sachin_supriya: We would say no one. We were here to learn and perform, so can't really say who's worse.
Guest48: Supriya, what is the one thing about Sachin that you like the most?
sachin_supriya: His honesty.
Guest48: So, when can we see Supriya back on Tu Tu Main Main?
sachin_supriya: Ask the channel! (laughs)
Guest32: Are you both planning to come on television serials or other programmes now that Nach Baliye is coming to an end.
sachin_supriya: Hmm, maybe but nothing's fixed, as yet.
sachin_supriya: We act in Marathi films together.
Guest31: What is your take on the other Jodi Manish and Poonam.
sachin_supriya: They are also very hard working and they definitely deserve to be where they are.
Guest48: So, how are the preparations for the final episode coming along?
sachin_supriya: Oh! We are rehearsing even more… We are doing simple steps but in a very powerful manner. It will be a clean choreography.
Guest96: Our best wishes are with you. Are you nervous?
sachin_supriya: Yes and no. (laughs) No, because we want to be prepared. Yes, because every time we are nervous, this time especially since it's a live performance.
Guest101: Is there any partiality indulged with this program as per what is heard.
sachin_supriya: I don't think so. Judges might have their personal favourites. But from the channel… No. Otherwise they would have retained Rajeshwari and Varun.
Guest13: You both remind me of the old classic musical singing in the rain: Sachinji is the talented Gene Kelly and Supriyaji - the ever beautiful Debbie Reynolds!
sachin_supriya: That is the sweetest thing anyone has said ever (laugh) said.
Guest48: Sachin, what is the one thing about Supriya that you like the most?
sachin_supriya: Her innocence. Whatever she is she is in front of people. She is straight forward.
Guest53: Which is the best performance by you in this competition?
sachin_supriya: The one in the regional round. Supriya's favourite is from the retro remix.
Guest32: Supriyaji don't mind but i want to tell you something… In the last episode, I felt your expressions were a little artificial…what do u think?
sachin_supriya: I guess I was very nervous because I missed two or three steps. Luckily, no one could make out, including the judges. That's why it might have seemed that way. But thank you, so much for mentioning… I will keep it in mind.
Guest48: What according to you sets you apart from the other couple?
sachin_supriya: Our age (laughs)
sara_padam: We both want to be the best couple like you, after 16 years of marriage, what is the magic between you… which we see during the performance, the love between you… any suggestions to maintain our married life like you?
sachin_supriya: Be in rhythm with each other.
Guest105 What do you both do in your free time?
sachin_supriya: Supriya plays with the dog and I play with Supriya… we also play a lot of board games at home.
Guest101: How much time do u spend practicing?
sachin_supriya: A minimum of eight hours.
Guest53: How do you think this experience of Nach Baliye has helped you in the
future, or life?
sachin_supriya: We think it has definitely pepped us up and is now here to stay.
Guest43: If given a chance would you want to participate in any dance competitions in future?
sachin_supriya: No! Once is enough! Sachin - We would like to keep dancing but not in a competition.
Guest101: Which judge from the trio would you rate the best?
sachin_supriya: Sarojji, for both of us.
Guest48: Were there any back stage rivalry among the couples?
sachin_supriya: No, none of us had that. It went a little sour at times, but not rivalry as such.
Guest13: For us, you are already winners.... But you will do the impossible in the finals, won't u?
sachin_supriya: We will try our level best. Thank you very much.
Guest43: What do you intend doing with the prize money?
sachin_supriya: If we win, we have planned some good things for the education of our daughter and a couple of good deeds attached to it. Supriya - I might spend it on my knee surgery (laughs).
sonaliiiiii: Hi, Supriya and Sachin... First of all, All the best! Can you tell me your date of births?
sachin_supriya: Supriya - 16 August, Sachin's is 17 August.
Guest32: Sachinji, is a good singer... What about you Supriyaji? Are you a good singer too?
sachin_supriya: I can sing it for you right here and your question will be answered right away (laughs).
Guest48: Which is your favourite place?
sachin_supriya: Hills to holiday... Supriya - I prefer it the sea.
Guest32: I think the only couple who could give you a real takkar were Varun and Rajeshwari, what do u think?
sachin_supriya: I agree.
Guest13: Hey Sach-Sup... Make a big budget movie like Grease, and act in it please... We would love to see you both in it.
sachin_supriya: Really!
Guest19: What kind of reaction does your daughter receive from her college friends?
sachin_supriya: They keep saying "your parents rock" and for us that terminology was so new! She had to explain it to us!
Guest126: Hi Sachin and Supriya, if you were not actors what would you have been?
sachin_supriya: Supriya - I would be a teacher and Sachin would be a lawyer.
Guest48: Which film of Sachin's do you like the most?
sachin_supriya: In Hindi - Balika Badhu and in Marathi - his first film ever, as a child actor.
Guest105: I've heard rumours that, it is all rigged, is it true?
sachin_supriya: Not at all!! Some people wish it was rigged, it would have been much better. But it is not.
Guest96: Are you satisfied with your rehearsals?
sachin_supriya: We are not... Not yet.
Guest106: How did you achieve your timings in your expressions?
sachin_supriya: Practice
Guest124: Looking at you, I feel that the saying "When going gets tough, the tougher gets going" is the most suitable!
sachin_supriya: Thank you and very well said.
Guest96: We will be missing you after this programmme. What can you do about that?
sachin_supriya: We will try our level best and see to it that you don't miss us.
Guest48: If there was Nach Baliye 2, would you participate in it?
sachin_supriya: Not at all! Not even Nach Baliye!
ehaab123: Do you like the movie - Saate Pe Saata, in which you have acted with Amitabji?
sachin_supriya: Yes, of course.
vaishjadhav: Hi dear ones, you reallly rock. I am amazed that at this age you both are so active, what is a raz behind it?
sachin_supriya: I think it is the point of view we have towards life… that makes the difference.
Guest96: Have you got some special surprises for us, this time?
sachin_supriya: Well, I hope not.
Guest126: Which is the song you both like the most?
sachin_supriya: We have our favourites…One for which we look into each others eyes and sing - Tere aankhon ke siva…
Guest134: How do you find things at the set of Nach Baliye?
sachin_supriya: Yes.
Guest32: Do you have any friends from the film industry? If yes, who are they?
sachin_supriya: Our real friends have left… Sanjeev Kumar is my greatest pal even now.
Guest32: Do you surf the net quite often?
sachin_supriya: Not at all (laughs). We have kept it for our old days.

sachin_supriya: It should be a battle of wits. Battle of fists, actually because its completely on voting.
Guest48: What can we expect from Sachin and Supriya in the future?
sachin_supriya: Well, we are planning a film which is a musical. That's in Marathi and on TV, we are planning a show.
sonaliiiiii: what is your daughter's name?
sachin_supriya: Shriya
Guest126: Who is your favourite couple from Nach Baliye, other than yourselves?
sachin_supriya: Archana Parmeet.
