The hero can't be that short?

I heard that even if a man is short, he still look not very short when standing next to tall women😊 But with women is different.

Part of it may be ego too. I know that Tom Cruise would not let Nicole Kidman wear heels when she would go on the red carpet and that Aditya did not like Mauli to wear heels on SRGMP. It is said that Aamir would not do films with Tabu for this reason. Sometimes it is just things we are conscious of or things we are used to may be more comfortable. I don't think it is a big deal. But somehow cougars(I hate that word) are seen to be more of a fad when robbing the cradle the other way is seen as more acceptable.

Nimmi, I agree with you. While making the movie biwi number 1, Sush was asked to not wear high heels because salman is shorter than her and salman said no, she can wear heels so he was confident about he's height. But it's very interesting when tall actresses are paired with short actors.

Oh, I agree. You are right about that. Salman has never had a big problem with that now that I think about it. I forgot about that movie Biwi No. 1. Good times, good times. And in a way, it would be interesting for a hero to look up to a heroine. Usually, they only do that for comic situations. One movie with a taller heroine and shorter hero was Main, Meri Patni, Aur Woh. It was a sweet movie so it can be done more often though. I can understand why people may find it unattractive too. Personal taste may come into play, but SRK makes it work. I don't know if it can be done without a star. Kangana Ranaut is tall, but I think she could still look good with shorter heroes too.

Now that I think about, all the tall actresses look good with short actors except for sush

SRK may look good with heroines shorter than him, but vice versa I think Hrithik looks good with tall heroines and would not look as good with shorter heroines. That is my reasoning for why Muhjse Dosti Karoge did not work. He looked better with Kareena than Rani. Then I guess Abhi does look good with Rani so that is my flawed reasoning. It has got to be more than height but other factors too I guess.😉

People thought Rani-Abhishek were the second coming of Jaya-Amitabh. Rani has said in interviews that she found Jaya-Amitabh to be the most romantic pair on-screen. I liked them together, but it is all about personal taste, eh. I will leave it at that. According to Google research, I found that Shahid Kapur is only 5'7 and Kangana Ranaut if 5'8, but I think they would look together. Then again it is only an inch so how much of a difference can that make?
