Ravi takes it easy

Ravi Shukla has been declared a finalist on Star Plus' Voice Of India and surprisingly, just as the competition toughs up, the Delhi boy says he is going to take it easy.

Talking about his preparation for the December 21 finale Ravi says, "I am just going to relax." Ravi feels that getting stressed will not help him any way. He adds, "This is a very important phase in my life. It's very important to stay cool and calm rather than get tense and feel drained."

Looking forward to the grand day, the talented singer says, "God has been very kind to me. He has helped me throughout. I am looking forward to the finale. I will just go there and sing my heart out without worrying about the results."

Friday's (December 12) episode confirmed Ravi as one of the finalists, leaving Vipul and Saptaparna anxious about their confirmation. "After the Indore episode, I was praying to God to put me in the safe zone as it was my last chance. When I was declared, I was completely relaxed," he says.

So, how is he preparing for the finals? "At this point, you have to do 10 things at the same time. It becomes really difficult to take time out for practice. We've to make stage performances and go for promotions. For all this, we have to rush from one place to another while managing to make time for rehearsals," says Ravi.

The singer is very thankful to his all those who have helped him in his journey. He says, "My family and friends from Delhi have extended their full support. It is my fans too who have got me here. But it's only by God's grace and my parents' blessings that I've excelled so far. Now I am not bothered about the results."

With Saptaparna and Vipul being equally tough competitors, the contest is bound to be cutthroat. This Friday, one of these 2 will get eliminated while the other will rock the 21st evening along with Ravi.
