KHALLBALLI follows GHAJINI, gets a UA certificate!
One More Thought Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.'s KHALLBALLI FUN UNLIMITED was given C.C.No.CIL/2/127/2008 (UA) certificate by the Censor Board. The genre of the film is comedy and so it is a bit surprising as to why the film has not been granted a U certificate.
However, children accompanied by adults are allowed and that is good news for the distributors of KHALLBALLI, who are banking on children and family to make this laugh riot a successful fare at the turnstile. In a way KHALLBALLI is on the same track as Aamir Khan's GHAJINI, which too has been granted a UA certificate!
KHALLBALLI has been directed by Ashok Chandhok, director David Dhawan's assistant and going by its innovative and hilarious promos one can sense that its an all out entertainer, which can be enjoyed with the whole family. The David Dhawan 'chhap' (stamp) is there alright, and in order to make it universally appealing and especially for the mass, a few cheeky scenes have been placed but that is for pure entertainment purpose and there is absolutely nothing offensive at all.
