I think it should be Jodhaa Akbar, b/c it's a film that represents India and consists of great acting, great writing, great direction, and outstanding costumes! Plus the chemistry between Ash and Hrithik is amazing!

I think only film ''Aamir'' from 2008 which deserves to go to Oscar, very serious film, with a very good message!..........

Jodha Akbar?! Are you kidding me!? 😆
If those are the options.....hope of OSCARS is light years away.
A wednesday was genuinely good.......but not enough......besdies Bollywood would not send it.
Maybe regional films.....but then I don't watch a lot of them so how would I know. Also, India usually sends typical Bollywood movies to OSCARS.......so why would they send any decent regional movie?😉

😆😆😆 Flaviya, don't be shocked.
In the past we have sent SLB's Christmas themed Devdas, Vijay Amritraj's illogical Jeans and Raj Kapoor's melodramatic Henna.
Very rarely do they choose a film based on Academy standards.

Devdas and Henna?! Why on earth do they think Indian emotions are universal?! 😆
And I won't say anything about Jeans......I loved the skeleton dance.🤣

^😆Just for the skeleton dance. I liked it too. It was sent to Oscar because Amritraj brothers are known faces in Hollywood and they have enough money to make the jury (rather force them) to watch the film.
I am all for RNBDJ this year. SRK will say Hello ji, Surinder Sahni this side.

I genuinely think JA was good! It was a historical epic and worthy of an oscar nomination. If all of you don't like the film up there, are there any other suggestions?
