Most ppl dont know, but tashan was actually able to recover most of its costs, therefore its not a disaster like percieved.

RR, unfortunately, is. I dunno what you mean by the voice overs being a reason for the movie being a flop. Hello, no one, and I mean all the reviews, all the audience feedback, NO ONE said anything negative about the voice overs. Infact Saif and Javed Jaffrey got praised for their commedable work. All the reviews said that Saif, kareena, and Javed were the PERFECT voices for Romeo and Laila. Roadside Romoe flopped because a) Indian audiences have the perception that animation is strictly for kids, therefore they didnt give it a fair shot

b)The promotion fell heavily right before the release date.The first promo came out with a bang a year ago, and then just sank as the release came closer and closer. Many didnt evne know it had released already.

c)The story line, while being cute, was a lil kiddish and predictable. But still, a very cute story line.

All in all, its very unfortunately that this movie didnt get its dues, seeing how much hard work was put itno ti.
