Anita Hasnandani, Balaji's blue eyed girl, seems to be in a spot of bother. After having been the lead of some of Balaji's most popular serials, the actress is now reduced to sharing the stage with the likes of Sambhavna Seth and Mink. Anita will be part of reality show called Dancing Queen, even though she is not an item girl.
But what happened to her role in Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani Humaraay Mahabharaat Ki? Wasn't she chosen to play Draupadi?
"Actually I have not been shooting with them. We just shot for first teaser episode where they showed vastraharan. After that they have not called me so far for the shooting," says Anita.
It has been more than two months that Ekta has introduced the pandavas and kauravas in the show with the new look but there is still no sign of Anita.
"My track has not come in the show as of now. Right now I am not shooting for them and only doing this show (Dancing Queen). I always wanted to do a dance reality show and this is best show I could have got. I like to do one thing at one time by choice. As soon as this show will get over I will take up something else," says Anita.
Anita was also a part of films in the South. But it looks like those scripts have also dried up.
"I am meeting with people for films and reading scripts but nothing has materialized yet. When I do you will come to know," she says.
Anita's last hit show as a lead on telly was Kavyanjali. After the show went off air in 2007, she was brought in for a small role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. But in that too her role ended abruptly and after that there has been no news of her in any other Balaji serial.
