Abhi-Ash: Raavana

Abhishek Bachchan and wife, Aishwarya Rai are getting a chance, which was lost by Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.They are crooning a song for their latest movie.

Music genius A R Rahman had composed a song initially meant for Mani Ratnam's project, Lajjo. But when Lajjo was shelved, Rahman decided to use the track for Raavana.

According to the original plan, the track for Lajjo was to be sung by its cast Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Now that it is used by Raavana, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will do the honours.

According to Rahman, "Some of the songs in Lajjo were generic, so we have translocated them into Raavana. Such things happen once in a while. No regrets. There is no time for that. Regret is boring. Mani s new film is a new genre for me. I ve done nothing like this before. So that s exciting."
