December 5th 2008 Written Update
Later Sumi confides in Bhairav abt Sugna's gauna, but he refuses to do it till Sugna is 18. He tells Sumi that Pratap's family will be coming to town for a wedding and may come to visit. Sugna overhears their convo and is upset that her parents have decided against getting her gauna done. Andi continues to remain mad at Jagu for lying. He tries everything possible to manao her, but in vain.
Later, Phooli comes to meet Andi on her way back home from school. She talks abt geography that was taught today. Both are confused abt the fact that the earth keeps rotating constantly and yet they can't feel it rotating and decide to watch the floor to check if it's moving. When it doesn't move, they try closing their eyes to concentrate. Jagu walks in seeing this and is amused. He overhears Andi tell Phooli to ask her teacher abt it. He feels bad for her when he sees how interested she is in learning things and yet is not able to go to school.
After Phooli leaves, he tells Andi that he will give her his books and she can read and learn from them. At first she is happy, but then she tells him that she doesn't want anything from a liar like him. She leaves the room, and Jagu sits there sad.
Precap: An old woman relative has come to visit. She sees Gehna and tells her that she is appalled at how an old person like Basant cud manage to get such a beautiful young bride as her. Gehna replies that it's not that difficult if you have the money to get what you want. Dadi listens to Gehna and fumes.
