What's the deal with Sughna's scar?

I'm fairly new to this show (started watching it from the episode where Gehna refused to sleep in the same room as her husband). Why is Sughna trying to hide that scar? I mean she's married, right? So why does she consider it scandalous for people to find out that she and her husband slept together? I don't get that part!

^when bride goes and live with the groom and inlaws!its beginning of consummation of marriage!!!
so sugnas gauna was not done thats she was still living with her parents and the marital life in true sense has not yet started!jaggus mom and dad took decision to do her gauna only after she is an adult.

actually in olden dayz when chidl marriage was a system ..........after the wedding .....the gal doesent go to her saasural and live wit her hubby unless she is of tht age to understand marriage and responsibilities .....................and when she is sent after yrs tht is knon as gauna............

so sugana is married ......but after marriage also she is staying wit her parents not wit her hubby ..............

her parents postponed her gauna till she was 18 so that she will not have any complications but she herself landed in trouble now they surely have to do her gauna and will her in laws accept her
