When Asin got shoes worth Rs 2 lakh!

We have heard of the famous phrase Miss Goody Two Shoes. For Asin it can be revised and modified as Miss Goody Rs. Two Lakh Shoes.

The latest Bollywood import from south bought a pair of shoes that left producer-director Vipul Amrutlal Shah with a wallet slimmer by Rs. 2 lakh.

Asin, the leading lady of Vipul Shah's London Dreams , was shooting in Paris for an important scene opposite Ajay Devgan when she complained that the shoes provided to her for the shoot were uncomfortable.

So the actress and director Vipul Shah went to a shop in Paris to buy a nice pair of shoes. And the footwear that Asin chose cost a bomb to the director. The actress handpicked a lovely pair of black shoes, decorated with studs, worth 3000 euros or Rs 2 lakh approximately, and Shah, left with little option, paid for that pair and rushed back to the sets to resume the shoot with the lady.

Reportedly, Asin did not even enquire the cost of the shoes, and Vipul didn't tell her about it either. Even the director-producer doesn't seem to be complaining. He said he doesn't compromise on the quality in his films.

Asin's Bollywood stint has just started and her first film Ghajini is yet to release. 'London Dreams' is her second hindi film. It's a mega budget movie with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan opposite Asin.

Wonder who will keep that expensive pair of shoes after the shoot is over? May be the director will gift that to lovely Asin.
