Well, Talking of Indian society, I don't think we will whole-heartedly accept homo-sexuality for another 100 years. Dostana is a humourous film, and anyway they were not really gay in that film........but if a serious film like "Brockeback Mountain" is made in India, I'm sure 99% there will be a controversy.

But in most European Countries, it has been legalised.
As far as my personal opinion goes, I think homo-sexuality is completely normal and should be legalised. That small section of society deserves this respect. I don't think they deserve to be gawked at or made fun of just becasue they made a personal choice which does not follow the so-called "society Norms".

In our society..and most religious don't allow it..... I don't like it.....but we can't stop others. It's their life..that's the way they were created..no one is perfect :) i've seen a few gay couples at my uni...it's like normal these days ...no one really cares or pays attention to them.
