To all the Bandhan fans,

A grand gala function was held in Chennai on the 16th of Novermber.

I and Netra have been planning to some message and some thing to show our appreciation to the Bandham team. We both have been planning for this for the past one month and Netra did most of the work with the help of her friend Mrs Arora ( chennai) and finally it was decided that we would send a nice Bouquest of flowers with a message from Bandham Forum IF.....and Netra came up with a plan of asking her friend to send to send a cake along too.After having numerous phone calls between me and Netra & Netra and Mrs Arora (chennai) everything was fixed.

On the 16th I called Guru Baran on his cell and got the news that they received the flowers with our message which was read during the speech by Kabilan. I talked to Deepak too the same evening. He said "Hi" to all of you and he sounded very happy.......I guess he is a Happy Married man.....

To finalise the message we both (netra and me) were on phone and chat and Pms......The war was about the name....Netra wanted only my name as a moderator....but I wanted her name also to be there since all this work was done by her.........atlast I won......and this the message we sent:

Now I am waiting for the pictures of the function and the video too. Isaitamil Prabhu is willing to upload the video in his site. GB promissed to send it when ever it is ready. I will post the pictures here for you all to see. Nalini, Devi Priya, Deepak, Rindya, Manohar.....are all aware of our IF and this Bandham Section too.. This is all because of Kabilan and GB. So thanks to them....for everything.

Soon I will open a new thread for this purpose when I get those pictures.

Update for Wednesday, Nov 19, 2008 Episode 548:

Lalitha is crying and Shanta tells her to go and sleep. She looks at the empty cradle and continues to cry. When she lies down, she relives the scene in the court room. The judge awards the child to Anand, and orders her to hand over the child to Anand. She tries to run away with the child, and Anand, Swarna, and Shanta try to stop her. Anand is trying to snatch the child away from her, and .. it was all a dream. She wakes up, sees the baby in the cradle and starts weeping again. She holds the baby, hears the judge's voice in her mind again, and decides to run away with the baby. She goes downstairs, and is about to go outside when Neelambari stops her. She asks her where she is going at this time of night, and Lalitha does not answer. Neelambari asks her if she is worried about the case which is going to come up in the court, and tells her not to worry and go back to bed. She asks if Neelambari can guarantee that the child will not be given to Anand, and Neelambari says that she will be there, and so the baby will not be given away.

In the meantime, Shanta wakes up, finds Lalitha missing and goes downstairs to see Neelambari talking to her. Together they manage to convince her to go back and lie down.

Next day, Shanta goes to Adhi's house. Sundara is there and asks how they are doing/ Shanta tells his father about Lalitha being very upset about the upcoming court case, and asks about Adhi. Sundara tells him that Adhi has gone out somewhere and will be back soon. Adhi returns from the temple and gives Shanta the prasadam, which he refuses. He tells her about Lalitha's worry that the child will be handed over to Anand, since they have not been able to produce the proof they needed. He asks Adhi to do something about it as she knows about court cases and how to deal with them. Adhi tells him not to worry and she will do what she can.

Gaya is upset about something and she goes downstairs. Nithila is downstairs and asks her what is wrong. She does not answer and asks Nithila to go and get the clothes and fold them. Nithila goes upstairs to the mottai maadi and is taking down the clothes when she sees Sakthi. She calls his name and he turns around and asks her what she is doing there. She says she has come to fold the clothes and he says he is not asking about that. She has no idea what he is talking about, and he says he is talking about her going to Chennai with Selva the next day. She says that she did not know about this trip to Chennai, and then Sakthi says that he cares for her and he knows she is not going to get her memory back. He says that he has a letter from the doctor to support his statement, and shows her a letter. She reads it and asks if Selva knows about this. He says that he has already told Selva about it, and Selva wants to take her anyway. He says that the only way to stop it is for him and Nithila to get married secretly, then Selva cannot take her away to Chennai. He says that Gaya is sure to be upset initially, but she will come around eventually, so they should get married secretly. FREEZE ....

Thursday, November 20, Episode 550

Sakthi and Nithila on the terrace.. Sakthi says no other way other than marriage..Nithila agrees for the marriage.. Sakthi in all smiles..

Adhi and Shantha come to the lawyer and tell they have a case.. Lawyer asks if the case is Criminal or Civil..Adhi replies "neither"..vakil wonders what it could be ..Adhi asks Shantha to explain the case.. Shantha hesitates to tell the story... Adhi forces him to narrate everything...Shantha tells the story about lali and him being childless...visiting the dr for a checkup and then some muted dialogues...Adhi tells "idhu dhan vakil sir nadandhadu" ...She asks the lawyer to take up this case and says she has to win this case at any cost..She asks the lawyer to keep all sakshi's ready and tells that she is not bothered to spend any amount for this case..

Nithila and ammu are walking back home from the school..ammu talks about sharing the tiffin box with her friend and fears her mother will scold her..Nithila says she will support ammu..Sakthi comes in his bike and asks them to hop on.. Nithila asks Sakthi.."You said you have lot of work at office and that you cannot pick up Ammu...How come you are here now.." Sakthi replies "Ya, I completed my work early..Hence I thought I will come"..On their ride back home, sakthi asks Nithila what she has decided abt their marriage..She says she will go by whatever Sakthi says.. Sakthi says he has decided that they will get married at the Registrar's office on Nov 14 (could not hear if was 14 or 16),Nithila hesitates..Sakthi convinces her saying.. He has done all arrangements and that they will meet at the registrar's office on 14^th... Ammu asks if she also come to the registrar office..sakthi scolds her...

Ammu playing on the terrace with a teddy bear..Gaya comes with a glass of milk..Ammu asks what is registrar office..Gaya hesitates to reply..ammu pleads her..Gaya replies "It is the place where we register the buying or selling of property"..Ammu then asks when are we going there..Gaya is confused...Ammu says Sakthi mama and gowri aunty are going to go there and get married..Gaya is shocked and she asks ammu how she knows this..Ammu replies that on the way back from her school... mama and aunty were talking abt this and when she asked mama ..he scolded her...Gaya is all worried...

Loosu sakthi talking to his doll...Gaya comes crying...she goes upstairs..sakthi wonders why akka has come..he continues blabbering with his doll...says I have decided to marry gowri...gaya comes down with a bag...Sakthi stops her and asks why she came so far for this bag..Gaya cries..he questions her..gaya asks "Don't I have the Urimai to cry also"..Sakthi is confused and wants to know the reason..Gaya says.."Don't you know the reason..nalla nandri kadan kamichutte unna valarthadukku" and goes away in an auto..

Gaya cries in the auto..calls up selva..he tells her that he is at home and asks her to come home ...Gaya refuses and asks Selva to come to the nearby Shiva temple..Selva asks if there is any problem..She replies...she wants to meet him at the temple to find a solution to the problem..

At the temple, Selva stands shocked.. Gaya says..idhu dhan nadandadhu..She fears that the society will laugh at her for bringing up this kolagaran and cries...Selva tells I understand your pain and consoles her.. Gaya tells.. " the only solution I see to this problem is..You take your wife and go to your home town"..

Update for Friday, Nov 21, 2008 Episode 551:

Opening scene: Selva and Gaya in the temple. Gaya wants Selva to take Nithila and run away to Chennai. She tells Selva that it was Sakthi who is responsible for Sathish's mother's death, and she fears that Sakthi may do further harm. Selva says that nothing will happen and he and Sathish will take care. She says that she doesn't want Sakthi to be handed over to the police (why? He is a murderer, after all!), because if he goes to jail, then everyone will say that she is from a kolaikaran kudumbam, and even Sathish may not want her to come back, so she will be all alone for the rest of her life, so she doesn't want Sakthi to go to jail (I cannot understand this logic, if I have missed something here, or someone understands this, please explain it to me). She says all the problems in their lives came after Sakthi brought Nithila to their house, so she wants Selva to take Nithila away and go off to Chennai, and they will somehow live out their lives (she , Ammu and Sakthi). Selva is thinking about all this.

Outside the court, Adhi, Sundara, Lalitha and Shantha have come with Adhi's lawyer. Lalitha is holding the baby and looking worried. Anand comes up and taunts them and Adhi tells him to back off from the case or else she will finish him off. He says he is not worried about her, even Neelambari's huge guy was not able to scare him off. He then asks if Neelambari has backed off, is that why she is missing today? Adhi again threatens him, and he laughs and tells Lalitha to take a good look at the baby, because after today, the judge is going to give the baby to him, and she won't be able to hold the baby or look at its face again.

Right then, Neelambari enters with her lawyer, who is none other than Prabhakaran, and her henchman. She says that she never backs off from anything, and once she starts something, she always sees it through. She sees that Adhi has also come with her lawyer, and Adhi tells her to go back, since they have their own lawyer. She says that Lalitha has to take the decision as to which lawyer should represent her case, and then she asks Sundara to make the decision, since Lalitha is not able to make a decision. Sundara says it is very hard to make a decision, then Shantha steps in and says that he has an idea. He says that both the lawyers can argue their case, this will strengthen their case, and Sundara agrees with this. Adhi also agrees with this, so Neelambari asks Prabhakaran if he is okay with this. He says he is okay, if Adhi's lawyer is okay, and he also agrees. They both go off to discuss the case, and the others are standing there. FREEZE ....

Update of episode 553 Tuesday, Nov 25, 2008:

Anand goes and pleads his case to the judge. He agrees that he may not have a legal right, but he cries that he does not want to be separated from his baby. He stands and cries, he sits in one corner of the witness box and cries, he cries, and everyone is uncomfortable. Lalitha, Adhi, shantha, sundara, everyone is uncomfortable to see him so upset. Prabha starts to say something, but Anand silences him and begs the judge to let him be with his baby. The judge starts to remind him of the story of King Solomon, but he says that he knows all that, and the basic fact is that he will die if he is separated from his baby. The judge remains unmoved by his theatrics, and delivers his verdict - the baby will go to Lalitha. In view of his genuine distress, the judge says that he can visit the baby one day weekly, and spend the whole day with the baby, but once the baby is five years old, he must stop all this and the baby will be entirely in Lalitha's custody. He must stop saying that he is the father of the child. Anand is stunned.

Anand goes home with Sorna, who tries to console him by saying that she is going to find him a wife. He gets upset with her and shows her his wife's photo and says that she is the only woman who will live in this house, and Sorna must not talk like that again.

Lalitha, Neela, Shantha leave the court, and Lalitha takes leave of Neela. She and Sundara both thank Neela and say they are going to their house. Adhi wants them to go with her, but they refuse.

Just as Adhi is going to get into her car, Neela walks up to her and asks her why she did all this. She had earlier refused to give Shantha his share of the property and refused to help him, now why is she doing this? Adhi says she did it for her son, and Neela asks if she did it because Shantha is her son, or because she wants to prove to the world that Shantha is her son? Adhi is shocked, and she just gets into the car and drives off. Poor sundara is left behind, running after the car and calling her name!

Adhi comes home, and is upset. Sundara enters and asks her why she left him behind. She says she has a headache. He says that she has been having a headache ever since she met Neela. He asks her why she did all this and was she trying to prove that shantha was her son by doing all this? Hearing him echo Neeta's words, Adhi is shocked. FREEZE .

Wednesday, Nov 25, Episode 554

Sundara asks Aadhi about her help done towards Shanta and he questions her" did you help Shanta with a good heart or just to prove to me that he is your son ...you did this ?" Aadhi gets irritated and replies," How can you ask such a question to me....aren't you ashamed to ask this to me again...I promissed to you already....still why don't you beleive me...OK...let me tell you one thing..I did not cheat on you and will never do that....please trust me" She goes in. . Gayatri is hanging washed clothes in the terrace and Sathish comes there and starts some emotional conversation. He thanks Gyatri for everything she did to him. He also apologises to her for not behaving well in the past. Sathish continues," Poor amma...she was always angry with me for not taking any steps to bring you back home and that eveining when I told her that you agreed to come home she was became very happy and she told that she will be here soon in the morning as she wanted to come to your house with me to take you here,......but .." Gayatri starts crying bitterly ( thinking about her arumai brother ...) and she tells," illanga...I only killed Athai...." Sathish consoles her and tells her not to cry anymore. At this point Selva calls Sathish from downstairs" Sathish some one is waiting to talk to you over phone" Sathish goes down.

Selva comes to the terrace looking for Gayatri and he finds her crying . Gayatri tells," Ayo Selva look at this sathish he misses his mom so much and I simply can not watch all this when I know really what happend...Selva if only Sathish was talking to me for sosmemore time I would have told him the truth...I am not able to do this anymore Seva...I really feel like killing myself" Selva quickly replies," akka..please stop talking like this...you should be strong atleast to change this Sakti inot a good person....Ayo....akka...no...I am not telling this just to console you....we can really cure Sakti.....Yes...akka Sakti is also a sick person same as Nithila.....he has some mental problem.....He just wants you to be with him and not with your husband....and even in Nithila's matter he goes to the extend of doing all this.....so akka he is defenitely having some mental problem...but you don't worry akka...we can cure him...."

Gayatri tells about her feaar that Sakti will never agree for any kind of treatment for him in mental hospital.....But Sleva replies," Akka....you don't worry..tomorrow morning as soon as all the ceremonies for amma get over we will take him to the doctor and see what happens akks...and I promise...I will take all the steps to cure him and hand over to you as a normal person before I leave this place with Nithila...."

Sakti is discussing with Nithila about giving sleeping pills to every one in the house so that they both will get out of the house and go to chennai and get married in a register office and come back. Nithila says that she is scared but Sakti again tells," there is nothing for you to worry....so take this sleeping pills and serve everyone...including me....just to avoid any doubts ....I will not drink it ..somehow I will manage to pour it away.....Sodappeeda maattiyeh?" Nithila agrees to all this

Night time...as planned by Sakti....He gets up and goes to Nithila's room where she is leeping with Gayatri...He wakes her up and slowly they both manage to get out of the house. Nithila keeps telling that she is scared...and Sakti tells her not to worry as they all will wake up only tomorrow late...due to the sleeping pills. Nithila gets on his Bike and the bike starts to slide on the road silently.......

Thursday, November 27, Episode 555

Gaya wakes up in the morning..washes her face, cleans the vasal..puts kolam, makes coffee and goes upstairs and wakes selvam..Selvam goes into the bathroom...while she wakes her husband and gives coffee..She looks for shakthi.. Satish says Sakthi is in bathroom ..but Selva is there..She is worried..She runs down and does not find Nithila in her room..she runs up shouting "enanga enanga" .. She tells Selva and Satish about Shakthi and nithi missing..Selva says "Don't worry.. We can find them"... Gaya is worried.. Saitsh says instead of wasting time discussing let's search them...

Lalitha and shantha are happily playing with their kid.. Lalitha wants to make her son a pilot so that she can go around the world... (what a brilliant idea 👏 ) Anand comes with Sorna... Anand very politly 😲 😲 😲 asks if he can come in.. Sorna says..just go and pick the child and come..😡😡 Anand says according to court order today he has to take the baby.. so he has come.. Lalitha refuses.. Sorna threatens her.. Anand silences his athai and requests shantha to give the baby and says he is no more pazhaiya anand "Naan thirundhitten" 😲 and assures that by sharp 5 in the evening he will return the baby?after some refusal by lalitha, threatens by athai..requests by anand.. shantha finally asks lalitha to abide by the court order and give the baby..Lalitha manase ellama gives the baby..She says ..baby will feel hungry every1 hr,...I have kept milk bottles, napkins and clothes ready for him... Ask them to take it..Sorna shouts back saying my marumagan has kept all this ready yesterday itself and they leave...

At Anand place... Sorna bring milk for the baby in the feeding bottle..Anand says he will feed.. Sorna gets a brilliant idea..She asks Anand what if we take the baby now and run away to parangipatai..🤣 ...Anand replies "nothing much...police will come and search us and ladam kattiduvanga" ...He tells his athai...be happy that the baby is with us atleast for sometime with us... lets spend this time happily with it and he continues to feed the babby...

Postman brings a resigter post for karapagam.. karpagam is surprised... Karpagam signs the post and asks anu to open it.. Anu tells it is from the bank... a warning letter for not paying up the amount for the locker.. Karpagam says she does not have any locker and this letter has come to her name by mistake... Natraj says locker belonged to jeeva... who gave all property to anu.. who in turn gave to her mom through Adhi... So now bank pass book, bank accpont, locker everything is in Karpagam's name... Karpagam says she does not need the locker (evelo periya manasu ... 😆) Natraj suggests that Go and have a look.. If you like it keep it otherwise close the locker and discard the items in it... He asks anu to take her mom... Karpagam is still thinking If she should go..Anu convinces her...

Shakthi and Nithila bikelleye Hosurlenthu Chennai registrar office vanthidaranga (Full make upla.. no tiredness at all... in same costume in which they started) Shakthi has the required papers and a pair of garlands in his hand... Nithi and Sakthi smile away to glory (senseless lady... feel like slapping her 😡 )They meet the peon who make them sit.. A couple are getting married...every one claps for the newly wed couple...Peon comes and asks if they have sakshi to sign...Shakthi says he did not bring anyone... Poen says no problem.. he will arrange... but they have to spend 1000rs... Sakthi gladly agrees and pays the money immediately.. Sakthia and Nithila walk upto the registrar with a sottai as sakshi...

Registrar questions if all papers are ready...sakthi gives him the papers and replies yes... Registrar asks if rendu perum virumbhi dhan kalyanam pannikirengaa...Sakthia and Nithis reply "yes" ... Registrar asks for sakshi... peon says this guy is the sakshi... Registrar okays ... and says....exchange the garlands and sign on this register.... Sakthi in full glee picks up the garlands.... Nithila also smiles and picks up her garland 🤪... Sakthi walks towards Nithila holding his garland...

Friday, November 28, Episode 556

Sakti and Nithila are in the mariage registrar's office. After all the formalities..Sakti and Nithila re about exchange garland...Neelambari comes there with her adiyal Samy who holds Sakti while Sakti struggles to set himself free. Neelambari tells Sakti to drop the garland down. At this point the officer asks Neelambari," why are you making this galatta here...?" Neelambari replies," If I tell you the reason to the police you will not be sitting in this seat anymore.....did you know you are trying to marry this man to some one's wife...?"

The officers gets shocked and he alows Neelambari to take them with her. Neelambari holds Nithi's hand and drags her along as she walks. Meantime Sakti is taken care of by Samy....Sakti gets beaten up . Seeing this Nithi refuses to go with Neela and screams," who are you first of all....and you better tell your man to stop hitting Sakti....I will not come with you..." Neelambari tells her," Nithila...you better come with me and he will stopo hitting Sakti....." Still Niti refuses and reists. "palaaaaaaaar" a tight slap comes like a thunder onto Nithi's face by Neela. ( I loved this scene...Nithila desrves this kind of treatment anyway).

In Osur....Sathish, Gayatri and Selva are discussing about Nithila/Sakti's disappearance. Gayatri tells Selva," How many time I pleaded to you to take Nithila and go off to Chennai...you never listened to me...see what happend now...knowing Sakti I reuwsted you but...." At this point Selva's cell phone rings and it was from Neelambari. She introduces herself as Neela and she tells about Nithi and Sakti...they are safe with her and Selva can go to her place in Chennai and take them back. Selva write the address and he tells Sathish and Gayatri that he has to proceed to Chennai right away. But Gayatri tells that she will alo go with Selva. Sathish allows her to go to Cehnnai and he tells Gayatri not to worry about Ammu as he can take care of her.

In Shanta's house....Lalitha looks so worried and Shanta keeps consoling her. Lalitha tells," See...this Anand can never turn a good person suddenly...look at the time...it is going to be 5 and he is yet to bring back our baby...I am worried" ....here comes Anand with the baby and thanks Shanta for allowing him to have the baby for so long and he also tells ...." I am not like before Lalitha...I am a totally changed person....I can understand your paasam towards your baby...." He leaves from there.......

Chennai...Neelambari's house..Selva and Gayatri reach there by an auto and the watchman tells Selva that madam is waiting for them. They are taken in. Meantime inside the house...Sakti asks Neela why is she keeping them there and they both don't have to listen to any of her lectures...and he gets up to go away from there. Quickly Samy comes and stops him. Nella tells," just wait here ...some people are coming to see you both after they come here you can leave..." As she was telling this Selva and Gayatri enter there.

Seeing gayatri and Selva ( namma paappa ) Nithila gets so scared and slowly goes behind Sakti's ...holding his shoulder....Neela introduces herself and Selva asks how they reach her and who is she. Nella replies," me...? in a way I am related to you...that is why I heard about your family problems..and solved Shanta & Lalitha's baby problem.....and then I heard about you......and I started towards Osur.....and on my way.....I saw these two rushing somewhere and I followed them and then......" (The rest are shown in black and white....register office etc...until Neela reaches there)

Gayatri gets so furious and walks to Sakti and holds his shirt and starts shaking him and hitting him and asks," why did you do like this da...?" Neela asks her to calm down and Selva also comes to her and tells her to leave Sakti. He tells," Akka...what is the point in scraeming at him...I told you already that he is not doing all this with his consiousness..let me call the psychiatrist...." He calls Dr Vivek and tells," Dcotor....as I have told you already about a patient........." At this point......Sakti comes to Selva and gives a blow on his head and asks," yaarai paarthu you are telling paithiyam da.....dei...who are you to do this..." Everyone gets scared to see the way Sakti behaves....He grabs Selva and makes Selva's head hit on the staircase pillar several times.....and when Samy comes to stop Sakti he overcomes Samy and hits Samy so bad......and finally he grabs a knife from the table and places on Selva's throat...

Selva is already bleading from his head.....Sakti threatens that he will slice off Slice off Selva's throat....if anyone stops him.....He calls Gowry to come with him.....And Gayatri pleads nithila not to listen to him....but namma Paappaa Nithila with a paavam face runs and stands behind Sakti......and Sakti dragging Selva starts walking towards the door.......Neela pleads to Sakti...," Shakti...look here....one minute "........
