She got noticed for her innocent looks in Yahaan, but Minissha Lamba proved that she's a better actor by bagging some top films with big banners.
She'll soon be seen with Zayed Khan in Rocky and also in Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate.
Here she speaks about fitness and her passion for baking:
Beauty secrets
I think everybody should learn to respect one's body and give your body that much time to workout so that you are fit and in shape. If you treat your body well the more perfect it'll be.
I always try and eat healthy food and avoid junk food, oily stuff and aerated drinks.
I drink lots of water throughout the day. I also make sure that I eat on time and do not take late meals.
I try and avoid rice as much as I can neither do I eat rotis. I am a non-vegetarian though I'm trying to turn veg, now.
Power diet
I try and take healthy meals to ensure that I have a balanced diet which keeps me energized throughout the day.
Breakfast is generally muesli with milk or a bowl of cornflakes or any other cereal.
Lunch is a simple affair and I generally eat sabji, dal and lots of salads.
Dinner is the same with some meat or a bowl of soup.
Besides that I also eat lots of fruits mid-mornings and in the evening.
Workout days
I workout seven days a week which generally consists of cardio and some light exercises as I don't have a tendency to put on weight. I go for dance classes as I love to dance. I feel dancing is the best exercise to lose weight and also have fun at the same time.
I love to bake
I cook for myself. I don't cook as much as I bake. I love cakes, pastries, chocolates and cookies. You can say that baking is my favourite pastime.
Classic chocolate cake

800 x 600 | 1024 x 768The ratio can also be changed depending on what taste you want - too chocolaty or light or bitter. I love the egg part of everything I bake, separating the yellow and the whites, and I guess that's what interests me in cooking. And then finally mixing all the ingredients together and making them into a soft batter. I love to do that. After that you put it in the oven at 180C. and then take it out when it starts smelling good (around 20 minutes).
The most romantic evening outing
Actually, I am not a very romantic person, so definitely candle light dinners are not my style. I think it's the most cliched thing now. I think I've crossed that stage in life where one would dream of candle-lit dinners and the like.
My idea of a romantic date would be a walk by a clean, lonely beach and after that having lovely sea food.
