On November 4, 2008, the United States of America underwent a great historical moment when Barack Obama, Democratic Illinois Senator, won the presidency over Republican John McCain, in a sweeping victory, becoming the first black president of the US.

Long before he won the presidency, it was announced that Barack Obama wore/wears a chain with Lord Hanuman on his neck for good luck.
He grew up in Indonesia, where Hinduism is a popular religion, in his childhood, and therefore may have learned about our Epic Ramayan.
Many of you may have heard of this already. I wouldn't be surprised, as US elections affect India also, but if you hadn't, I just thought this might interest you. Whether you heard of it or not, I think it is a point of pride for us Hindus.⭐️ What do you think?

I voted for Obama too!⭐️ Cause' I too thought the country needed a Democrat after what Bush did, but yes, you can tell McCain was experienced, but no matter how experienced he was, America doesn't need a Republican right now.
You're welcome! I too became very very happy when I first heard of this!⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mahatma Ghandi is awesome! Dr. Martin Luther King use to look at him for teachings and lessons, Mr King also had a picture of Mahatma Gandhi in his house too.
