Ranjana, a beautiful end to a beautiful story. I am sorry to see that you had family members suffer due to the same addiction, but the fact that you are able to use that experience to teach others is the greatest thing possible. You are using those experiences for a better cause.

I commend you for writing such a piece of work because coming face to face or accepting these facts in life is not easy, even if it was an uncle, an aunt, or even ones father. Just like you had written, many times the people around us are in denial about what is going on. They stay in a rut, and continue to view life with rose colored glass.

But as Bani broke down the glass, some people noticed that what they had been seeing wasnt actually real- and the way you portrayed that was impeccable. Till the end of the story, there were still people who didnt accept her and despite her pleas to return to the house, JW knew what was for the better. It was a happy ending, with a tinge of bitterness because they lived away from the rest of the family.

I hope that you do write another story. This one was definitely intriguing till the very end. I am glad you wrote such a realistic and poignant story.

Hey Ranjana,
Read this story, really very thought provoking. I know it is very difficult to get rid of any kind of addiction, i have seen families getting destroyed because of alcohol addiction specially in India where rehabilitation centres are not available and even if there are rehabs, the addicts and their families just don't accept that they have problem. It takes a lot of courage on the part of family members to accept it and make that person accept and go for treatment.
I really appreciate your effort on writing a JB romance on such a delicate issue.
take care and keep writing.

Hi Ranjana
Hope this time there is no power failure!!! (Last time I wrote down my comments and...... :( )
The struggle that they did every day initially shows that it needs will power to leave bad habits rather than treatment. The fact that both stood together and Bani gave JW enough room to do what he wanted, his feeling of responsibility towards his family, the final acceptance from the finally after the birth of the child and naming him Aman were lovely. The healthy relationship that JB shared and their attempt to give in return to the world what they learnt, by forming the Center to help the poors suffering with similar problems was great.
That was a lovely ending literally but a beautiful beginning for people who faced so much pain. I suddenly remembered Roshni's words...it came true....Bani just found the golden heart in Jay and even gifted him the family that he desired. That even Bani was far beyond her own insecurities was excellent.
Coming to the FF as a whole, it was a good learning experience and the aim with which it was written is truly appreciable. Hope after reading this story people can find solutions to their such problems and look at the brighter side of life rather than drown themselves in their habits.
Thanks for writing such a beautiful FF :)
