First let me clarify that this is not a comparison post.....while watching friends i realized that there certain things that r common between the 2....so i tried 2 figure out the differences n common things between the two shows....
1)Armaan/Riddhima - Ross/Racheal: Both of them make a wonderful pair....different from each other but still very much in love with each other...just like Armaan n riddhima(AR) ross n Racheal(RR) 2 have many fights...but they still end up together...like AR RR too the had many breakups but ultimately they patch up as they can't stay without each other.
2)Armman-Ross: While Armaan is dashing..charming guy with a very appealing personality...Armaan is someone who is very gud with women....Ross on the other hand is a geek n a complete failure with women....but what is similar between both of them is the way they love their women....like Armaan,Ross too can't resist racheal....just like Armaan the only women Ross can think about is Racheal
3)Riddhima-racheal:personality wise they r very different...racheal is a spoit daughter of a doctor while Riddhima is very down to earth n helpful person without any airs.the similarity may be in the way both of them r always confused about the love of they life
4)Phoebe-muskaan:both of them r funny n can't understand things quickly enough(the way muskaan is still unaware of rahul's feelings)...both of they r always ready 2 help their friends,don't think much about the future n r always happy
5)Monica-Anjali:just as Monica is a cleanliness freak ....anjali is also someone who always look for perfection....they r both very concerned about their future..
6)Atul-Joe:while joe is a cool dude...Atul is very much a boy next door....but both of them r funny n many times act like a tubelight....the biggest difference is that Joe is crazy about every second women but Atul is crazy only about anjali
7)Rahul-Chandler:can't think of any striking similarity or dissimilarity
8)Story:the similarity is that both r very light hearted shows which can make u laugh....both show the bonds between friends with so much simplicity that u can easily relate to it... without involving any sort of melodrama....the major dissimilarity is the fact that friends gave equal importance to all the 6 major characters...while dmg is mostly about Armaan n Riddhima
I tried 2 express my views as i like both the shows very much...i hope i didn't offend anyone....plz comment on this topic so that i come 2 know about the things which i missed out
