Today on STAR NEWS a documentary was shown in the show SAMARPAN at 3 pm(IST) abt a well of sweet water which is situated in the sea at RAMESHAWARAM & abt a mountain known as GANDHMADAN from which HANUMANJI jumped from & reached lanka in search of SITAJI !!

well of sweet water at VELUNDI ( a place near RAMESHWARM----- this well was dugged by HANUMANJI ,when RAMJI became thirsty when he was crossing the setu ,RAMJI asked for water from Hanumanji ,Hanumanji in dilemma what to do as sea water was unfit for drinking ,so Hanumanji banged the sea with his gada & a well was formed which was filled with sweet water , that well was shown in the documentary ,this palce is called VELUNDI & all the ppl who come to RMESHWARAM first come to this well & take it's water as a prasada with them & drink its water ,

the well is situated in middle of the sea & a brick bridge is made upto that well ,the boundries of that well hv been raised by putting more bricks & that well was looking really beautiful !!

many ladies were standing & filling their vessels with the water of that well !!!

a temple of lord SHIVA is also made at this place ,that temple is known as the temple of TRAYUMBKESHVAR mahadev temple & it's a must for every pilgrim to visit this well of sweet water & the temple of trumbkeshwar mahadev (which is situtaed very near to this well)

GANDHMADAN PARVAT ------------------this parvat is also amidst the sea ,a grand temple is also made at this place ,this is the parvat from which Hanumanji JUMPED & crossed the entire sea & reached lanka in search of mata SITA!!!!

the priests of VELUNDI & GANDHMADAN gave interviews abt the importance of these places & these places another proof for OUR GREAT EPIC RAMAYAN !!!!😊
