Should school kids carry cell phone? - Page 3

well its not necessary..but in some cases parents need to keep track of their child..in that case its ok otherwise no need of cell in school 😛 😛

yeps.....skool kids shud carry cell fones....

i mean....d students...esp. those frm senior classes hfta attend soooo many tutorial classes n stuff after school....then thr r extra classes, stay backs....so cell fones r definitely very imp.... it reilli helps us 2 kinda manage stuff, n obviously d safety aspect is also thr 4 ppl who go bck alone....

as far as d whole mis-use thingie is concerned, c'mon v r dummies tht vr gonna keep our cells switched on during our classes.... cuz after all....vr one helluva smart lot....

so cellphones should b allowed in schools.....

Cell phones are a neccesity, they are so much better than public phones. I have one, I use it for emergencies, and trust me I have had a lot. They are good to have, a lot of kids have cell phones now, not all of them use it for the right reasons, but that is there problem. I just think cell phones are a necessity.

i know now in india the situation of having cell phones has risen. i was in sing in that period. and every child had a phone, those who were poor got one once they passed their 7th board exams. asians generally get financial support from their parents, so in a way they are spoiling their child. but most asians are class concious if every one in office or school has a phone you get one. children having phones just become a neccessity. its the children who talk the most. i dont have a phone because i dont have a job to actually pay the bills and dare not ask my parents. but my sis got one wen she was 10.

Well i dun kno bout the situation in India - but it sounds just like here in America. Every1 has a cell, and here if u dunt have one ur a loser.
In my school i've seen kids just have the phones and flash them around. They go from home, to the bus, to school, to the bus, and home. They just have one to be cool. children having phones bceame a neccessity.
I got one i think 2 yrs ago, but i do sports so sumtimes practices get cancelled, or end early or sumtin like that - i have a valid reason for 1
