*phew*...finally..we won..

I had completely lost hope in the last over. Am like..great..we got to play cricket after so long and that too we are losing !!..

And then Kamran Akmal hit a six..I was literally surprised...then came another six..am like..please..we are so near..just don't do anything stupid !!!
It was an awesome match !!

Though I think Salman Butt screwed the beginning. He's my favourite and he was hesitant in running between the wickets, hitting a shot..what was wrong with him??..
Manzoor playing a brilliant 69 knock !
Nothing can be expected from Afridi !!..ZILCH !!!
Malik was good too..not a big fan of his and want him to leave captaincy ASAP !
Kamran Akmal - FANTASTIC !!!

Abdur Rauf was way expensive !!...77 runs in 9 overs is hell of alot !!
Umer Gul was expensive too but then he got 3 wickets so it's fine.

Waiting for the next match eagerly !!

The first match was realllllyyyy goood!!! Pakistan got an unbelievable victory thanx to Akmal's heroics...
Apart from him, I think Malik played a big role... he started the things as he scored pretty quickly.. good fifty by Manzoor too... and great bowling by Tanvir!!!👏

As for the 2nd match, its been a pretty ordinary performance from Pak so far.. 232 runs is not a big score... but since the pitch is slow, anything can happen!!

Congrats to Pakistan on the Series Victory. I'm from the West Indies, and I must say that my support was for the Pakistani team, and after today's match I think I was justified.
I am sorry to say but as a West Indian, I was appalled, disappointed and ashamed at the behaviour of Chris Gayle, the West Indies Captain!
Aside from the fact of the umpiring mistake, Chris Gayle should have shown the honestly and sportsmanship that is expected from a good cricketer and walked off the pitch after he was clearly out. He knew he was out, the bowler knew, the wicketkeeper knew, the entire Pakistani team knew, and even all the supporters of both teams in the stands knew that Chris Gayle all but guided the ball with the full face of the bat to the wicketkeeper! It was a clear case and Chris Gayele should have acknowledged that he was out by walking without waiting for an umpire's decision (which in this case leaves one to wonder).
By looking at the possibly the greatest West Indian to ever play this game, Brian Lara, he oftentimes never waited for an umpire's decison and was honest enough to leave the crease when he knew that he was out, even without an umpire declaring it.
Shame on Chris Gayle for seeming to be so self serving ( as he seemed to be more conerned with scoring his hundred) than honest when faced with the situation. Right is right and he was most definitely (to use his favourite phrase) wrong.
Pakistan deserved the win, and as a West Indian, I am proud that they did win! They displayd a degree of sportsmanship that I think should be praised.
I don't mean to sound bitter and biased by the next statement but again as a West Indian from Trinidad and Tobago(Brian Lara's country), I felt I was watching a Jamican team play that match and not a West Indian team. The team was made up of 7 players from the Island of Jamaica, 3 from Guyana and I think the last player was from Monserratt. That team was not a true representative of the best players of the entire Caribbean region which is made up of in excess of 20 islands, with a vast array of cricketing talent from these islands. But that is an issue the the West Indies Cricket Board and its selectors will have to address seeing the absolute failure of this "West Indies" team.
Specail mention should be made though of the outstanding efforts of the veterans Sarwan and Chanderpaul, who both gave comendable performances, to little avail. Also Chris Gayle's 100 in the first match was a good effort but not enough.
Once again Congrats to a deserving Pakistani team who outplayed the West Indies at every level. Supporters of Pakistan should be proud!

^ yeah shellytt , I agree wid u there about the whole Chris Gayle thing..
I mean.. it was ok if he had slightly nicked the ball and had not walked.. But there u could clearly see that he had played it with the full face of the bat... I dunno wat made him act like that coz it let to his own disadvantage as now everyoone is after him.. Obviously he knew that more than 28 cameras r capturing it and they will show clearly what had happened there but still he acted that way..😕
And as Sanjay Manjrekar kept repeating during his commentary... Why couldn't Mark Benson see that he was out???😕 Manjrekar was really going mad... he was lyk : "Even the ppl in the stands could tell that was out!"😆 Gayle got 4 chances and he went to score a 100...He was out on the very first ball of the innings but wasn't given..then there was a dropped catch...then there was a caught behind but nobuddy appealed except Akmal..😕

Anywayz.. I would really like to say that I'm proud of Pak team.. they way they acted after that whole Gayle thing... they showed perfect sportsmanship...credit there to Malik.. handled the situation very well..didnt create a fuss and went on wid it..

On the whole, a good performance from Pak... Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul,Ajmal,Afridi,Rao,Malik all wer awesome wid the ball throughout the series.. Akmal,Misbah,Younis and to some extent Manzoor batted well... Fielding was good too... Ajmal is a healthy addition to the side but he desperately needs to improve his fielding!! 😆
