There have been singing competitions, there have been dance reality shows, and there have been comedy shows, but never before on Indian television has there been a show which is a combination of all three. Come Sunday, the 2nd of November, popular Hindi General Entertainment Channel 9X will launch Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 - a mega show featuring a galaxy of stars, celebrity judges and popular hosts in a show that is an engrossing blend of song, dance and comedy. What is more, its unique format -- which demands that team captains 'trade' team members amongst one another -- adds a fascinating twist to the show.
The show will bring together -- as four opposing captains -- Mika, Rakhi Sawant, Shakti Kapoor and Shweta Tiwari, and will be hosted by versatile actor Ali Asgar and popular TV star Divyanka Tripathi. The celebrity judges will be gorgeous Bollywood actor Mahima Choudhry, and celebrated Director-Actor Satish Kaushik.
The show will also feature 12 popular TV stars, who will be divided in three talent pools of Singing, Dancing and Comedy. Twinkle Bajpai, Amit Tandon, Sandeep Acharya and Rajeshwari Sachdeva comprise the Singing pool, while Khayali, Kashmira Shah, Krushna Abhishek and Purbi Joshi form the Comedy pool and Tanaz and Bhaktiar Irani and Gaurav Khanna and Shubhangi Atre will hold the Dancing flag high.
The Captains will choose their respective teams from the talent pool of these 12 celebrities, but going forward they will be forced to play a strategic game against each other as they trade team members in their bid for the JALWA title.
Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 will bring 9X viewers the best of family entertainment: an unprecedented competition full of fun, energy and edge-of-the-seat excitement.

Veteran director actor, Satish Kaushik comes with more than 20 years experience in the film industry. Tere Naam, directed by him, is his most successful film till date. Satish started his film direction career by assisting Shekhar Kapoor in his film Masoom. He went on to direct popular films Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raaja, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai', Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai to name a few. He also wrote the dialogues of all the time comedy classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron in 1983.
