He always had a soft spot for her though. I remember in an interview in 2002, he was asked to list his favorite actresses, and he said Kajol, Tabu, and Kareena. Though that makes no sense, coz kareena at the time was just a new comer! ANd not exactly known for her acting.

Then during the first season of KWK, during his rapid fire round, karan asked him who's sexier, preity or kareena, and preity was sitting right by him, so he made this funny face, thought for a second and said preity and laughed.

And in the second season, he didnt even bother hiding it. When asked to choose between preity and rani, he said kareena. Outright, kareena. No wonder he confessed his feelings on the sets, prolly not long after she broke up with shahid. He was fond of her for so long!
