good for you baniwood that ..that is ur opinion but don't u think u were posting in the wrong thread?....after all this thread is not talking about prachi at all but is talking about gurdeep's best scene....if u can't accept gurdeep as bani...that is your outlook and you are entitled to keep it but nobody is arguing with u reg it also na...i mean nobody put a gun to your head and said like gurdeep ,accept her as bani...this thread just says that it was gurdeep's best scene...nothing more nothing less....so don't imagine a slight where nothing exists...

I am getting just a little tired of this "Prachi versus Gurdeep" topic/controversy. Just saw a poll asking to compare prachi n Gurudeep.I don't think anyone disputes that Prachi was good and an excellent fit for the role of Bani. But it was Prachi who one day decided to move on with life and left the show. Even recently, she emphazised that she won't be returning to television. If our forum friends can bring Prachi back to the show and get her commitment for the rest of the serial, I will back you. If only Prachi had the commitment that her fans have for this serial!

Comparison between Gurdeep and Prachi is always going to be subjective as it is never easy to accept a replacement for any popular role, especially when the original actor played her part very well. Gurdeep has her strengths and weaknesses like any other actor; no one is perfect including Prachi. Initially I had my own reservations over Gurdeep playing the role of Bani as I too couldn't imagine anybody other than Prachi in that role. However I admire Gurdeep for her courage to stick with the role and character in spite of the challenges of age and character degradation that has happened with the role of Bani. She has stuck with the task that Prachi walked away from (for whatever reasons). She is doing her role very well.As a loyal RK fan, I have to support RK for sticking to the plot and character in spite of all the challenges that the serial and storyline poses. Ram deserves kudos for playing a character with all those flaws, the advanced age, and all those baggage of children (no one really knows how many belong to JW).

Showbiz has never stopped for even the biggest stars. The show must go on with those who have decided to take the mantle. And hopefully, Ram and Prachi will come together again in some serial in the future (and hopefully we will see Prachi stick to it). But for now, I am perfectly happy with how Ram and Gurdeep have taken the serial forward bravely. Gurdeep has done a fair job and has her own brand of chemistry with RK. For me, RK and JB are enough to keep me engaged in KS. The lunatic storyline and mediocre scripting of KS is more disturbing than the issue of Gurdeep replacing Prachi. It's actually the scripting team and the 'creative guys' who should get replaced rather than Gurdeep!

I don't wish to create any controversy. I like both Prachi and Gurdeep, but I am realistic and live in the real world. Prachi was good as the old Bani and Gurdeep is good as the current Bani. There's no point in imagining how Prachi would have performed as the new Bani when she herself didn't want to play it! Why blame Gurdeep and Balaji for a problem that they did not create? … Just my pov … no intention to hurt anyone here!

I totally agree with u. but my friend IFaddictinUS quoted me wrong. i dint say that i hated her the only thing i said i dint feel any chemistry btw her n jai.

Gurdeep has an amazing chemistry with Ram and I have noticed that Ram is letting go and acting more naturally with Gurdeep.

gurdeep was the only actresse that could act as pronita as she is a very good actresse but her smile when she went at the airport to pick up pushkar was kinda artificial !
