You would be very surprised to know that Mahi was initially offered the role of Dr. Juhi in Sanjeevani, which made Gurdip Kohli a household name and if that wasn't it, the producers were keen ot have her in its sequel DILL MILL GAYYE too. But her debut on the small screen was postponed when she refused offers until KAISI LAAGI LAGAN happened..
