Kyunki.... last day on the sets

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was aired last night for the final time. The director of the show Hitesh Tejwani, brother of Hiten Tejwani, says emotions were riding high on in the final few days.

"On the last we only shot with Saakshi and Smriti - none of the cast member was there with them on last day. The show is not really ending and so we haven't shown a definite end. However a day before that we shot with entire cast and crew of the show and everyone was sad. Baa (Sudha Shivpuri) and Tulsi (Smriti Irani) cried on the sets," reveals Hitesh.

"They both are households name for everyone for the past eight years. In fact daily soaps started because of Kyunki so they were naturally feeling sad. Right now we are not shooting, as our boss has not given us any instruction about whether we are re starting the show or not."

"So half the cast members are relaxing at home and rest of them has gone on holidays. It was necessary for them to have a break after having worked continuously for years," adds Hitesh.

There is a buzz that the show will re-start. "We are hoping that the issue will be sorted soon and that is why no end was decided. We purposely ended with the scene where Parvati reveals that Karan-Nadini's son is with her. We know people still love Kyunki and we know that they will surely watch it any day," says Hitesh.

The final episode showed it was Tulsi's birthday and she thinks that everyone has forgotten it. But her sons come to meet her in the evening who had left her after listening to Baa's will. However everyone comes to know that somebody forced her to write will on Parth's (Karan-Nandini's son) name and Tulsi will be meeting that person today. Tulsi meets Parvati and she reveals that she only forced Baa to make that will and Parth is with her.

The show ended but made sure it aroused enough curiosity and left the audience wanting more!
