Why do they get people from all different places when this has to be done.. What does Yapshita sings being cool doesn?t been you are a smart and a sincere singer? Sara has always been good so in this way I think someone else should have been out.. This even happened in 2008 as well with Amanat Ali and Raja Hassan, middle of the way they bought the Aneek winner of bengali saregamapa half way of the show and now this year bought that girl and a boy? It?s such a place where people from different countries get criticize and racism is always there.. Hate everyone?? What the Hell is debojit doing.. can?t even sing properly..
At frist all the Pakistani?s boy got eliminated and how come only Indian on the show right now.. why aren?t lot of Indian going.. Haan.. I am not from India or from Pakistan but I think things have not been changed yet.. even though they say but still something is their in heart alive today as well..
Hope you all liked my comments and what a SHAME for SAREGAMAPA 2009 ....HUH!!
I dont understand your comments completely. I assume you are talking about Soumen and Vaishali being brought into the show. In terms of numbers and proportions, the show maintains the same proportion when it comes to Indian contestants versus non-Indian contestants. In fact they do that at the cost of many talented Indian singers all the time and this year is no difference either.
When the show started, there were 16 Indians in four gharanas, and six Pakistani singers and six foreign singers (two from US, two from UK, one from Oman and one from Singapore) were brought in, along with a bunch of independent singers. As it went on, four Pakistani and four foreign singers made it into the four gharanas. In the top 14, there were nine Indians, four Pakistani singers, and one foreigner, which is 9:5 ratio - this meant five foreigners and over a dozen Indian singers were sent home already by this time. After this week's round, it's now five Indians, one Pakistani, and one foreigner - making it 5:2 ratio, and Indian singers will be taking the baits in the coming weeks in order for them to retain the less talented foreigner.
The producers of the show are Indians, and if they had wanted, they could have maintained it as a 100% Indian show. They have opened their doors for others to particiapte and look at the positive side of it. These people are getting such an exposure in the Hindi music industry which none of the Indian contestants can even dream about having outside their home country. Indians never get invited for such a talent show outside India. Then why complain when India is opening her venues for non-Indians?! I dont even understand why someone is so annoyed about it when they dont even belong to either nations??!!
