It was the Mela scene today. Nothing much to write home about. Just everyone arriving. A little bit of romance between the Bull and chaijee khullam khulla in the bazaar. It was cute though with buaji looking on. And then you had the toothsy crow and the cow arriving too. Then the doe and her landlady.
Amidst all this the Rat and my kudi are walking around. He trying to spot his parents and she her KKs. But they get waylaid by an idiotic photographer. The Rat mutters that there is just one way to get rid of him. He grabs my lass by her hand and follows the photographer into his studio. She frowns. And once inside, she pulls her hand away. He seems to like the feel of her hand. 🤢 Poor little Kranti. She has to bear his revolting touch. Then the idiot Phtgpher says they shd stand close and that the husband should put his arm around her shoulder. She suffers once again. 🤢
Once they are out, a troupe of dancers come along in which the KKs are disguised. They share notes with my kudi. They go their way and kranti is returning when the Rat realises she is missing and smells a rat.
