Why is Ekta hesistant to show the major war scenes in this version? First, she finished Draupad-Kaurav war in a 2-minute narration without actual war scenes.. then, the entire Pandava-Draupad scene was finished within 4 arrows without an ending.. Then, today, we didn't see the war between Balram and Rukmi's army.. Also, the fight between between Krishna-Rukmi was very short and had very mediocre production values..

Is it simply because Ekta doesn't have any technical capabilities to show a war scene.. ? Wars are there at every step of MB and can't be avoided in this manner..

It was very dissappointing to see that today's epi was hush hush affair, looks they were in a hurry to wrap up .......probably they will focus on Krishna -Rukmini wedding, typical balaji😳

I really don't see why someone would decide to do a show on this epic if they are not ready to depict the battles properly. You can't avoid wars and battles in the Mahabharat. 😕

Perhaps it's a budget issue? Low TRPs might have forced Ekta to reduce the budget or skip battles to save money. Maybe she is trying to finish the serial in a hurry. Or maybe Balaji is being their usual incompetent selves. 👎🏼

No money for a sinking project and of course lacking in competence hence the project is in this condition. Now somewhere I read, Ekta wanted this serial of hers to be remembered as one of the landmark version of MB....well it will be remembered no doubt but as 🤢 version

a lot of planning, manpower is required to shoor war scenes...if it's a saas bahu serial and if an episode has to be aired today, it's ok to shoot it 1 day before but that can't be the case with a mythological....hats off to this woman..she is producing films, tv serials, mythologicals, reality shows all at the same time!!!!

Agreed Ekta Kapoor is a great entrepreneur, she brought about a revolution in the TV world which had monopoly of men; her revolution has paved way to many other talented woman producers and directors.
But Mahabharat is Mahabharat!!-you cannot fiddle with it,its got to be shown the way it has to be. Our epics-Ramayana and Mahabharata are such wonderful reflections of the human mind; how true was Rish Veda-vyas when he said that " what is found in Mahabharata is found elsewhere but what is not found here cannot be found anywhare else" 😊

yeah budget might be the issue...the last battle scene which i loved was in jodha akbar..but it was on a different scale..it's nearly impossible to do it for a tv serial.....n wars are happening quite often in mahabharat....ekta must look into thismatter..

Very well said. Ekta if you want to make something, make it properly, otherwise do not do it....specially when you are not being forced to do, as a producer stick to your strongest points....
