Eunuchs on VOI - Article

"The idea given by the creative team to me and I was very excited about it. I know how people ignore eunuchs or pass comments on them or feel sorry for them. So I always wanted to have such chance where I can showcase them and remove misunderstandings which people have about them. The song was saj rahi gali meri maa from Kuwara Baap," explains Vipul.


"However while I readily agreed to the idea it was difficult to get ready for it. It took 2 hours for me to get ready like eunuch and everyone was laughing at me. In fact I told my father over the phone and without even watching me he started laughing. I decided that I will pull everyone's leg but my main target will be Shaan bhaiya. He did not recognize me first in and when I called him chikna and touched him, he was scared for some time. Urmila was our special guest and she too was laughing," he adds.

All in all it was a fun day for Vipul as he received good remarks as well.


"Having fun on the show is a different story all together but I always make sure that I am well prepared for my performance as well. And thankfully I got good compliments and marks too. Urmila became emotional after my performance," he says.
