Akshay's Chandni Chowk To China did the impossible mission
Akshay Kumar's next big comedy flick Chandni Chowk To China was given permission to shoot on The Great Wall of China, something that was denied for Tom Cruise's big flick Mission Impossible.
Talking at a press conference in New York, the film's director Rohan Sippy said, "There was a lot of lost in translation happening. We had Chinese crew and Thai crew. So a lot of people from different places and we had to make sure that everyone understood what was going on. We had Roger Yuan, who had to speak Hindi in the film. He had to learn the language without any knowledge of it. It was an amazing experience, translating the language, making him understand the expressions and focus on the acting."
Rohan is expecting the film's US based producers Warner Brothers to give the movie a wide release in the US. "I hope this movie receives some mainstream audience but the main target is the Indian audience here," he added
