Karan braves injured knee to perform - Article

"Karan twisted his knee, after we finished our performance" says Teejay.

She explains, "We were going to the green room and he slipped suddenly in the tunnel, twisting his knee. Farah immediately called for a physiotherapist, he then give him some medicines and heat therapy. However Karan did not want to back out at the last minute from the common performance, that is why he said yes and performed with the boys. Farah told him that he was still better than other boys who performed."

Speaking about his recovery she says, "Karan is undergoing treatment for his knee. Abbas Ali who trains Shahid Kapoor is training him to get back but his improvement is still slow. He has been given some exercises to do, electric shocks and all. They have also advised him to take rest. His muscle has become very hard now."

Speaking about the theme in the show this week, Teejay tells us, "This week our theme was 'aaja nachle', which means we had to perform on a dance number. They told us that they did not want to see concept, costumes or anything; they just wanted to see straight, hard core dancing. We managed to perform this time in spite of Karan's knee. You will have to see the episode to find out what happened after our performance."

Karan and Teejay celebrated their anniversary on the sets. "We cut a cake on the sets, we celebrated it in a small way, but it was surely the most memorable anniversary for me. Abhijeet sang a song for us, and then afterwards Karan prepared a small candle-lit dinner for me. But we were busy this year so we could not shop for each other. Still it was precious day for us," she fondly recalls.

There a twist this time in Nach Baliye, as two couples will get evicted this week.
