I am in tears! I can't recall the the last time I was in tears out of happiness but I am so happy. This is history and I have just lived it. After weeks of putting my life and soul into this election I feel everything paid off. I want to cry and scream out of joy. I have heard lots of thing about this election but this one touched me the most. So I will share it...

" After today on no black grandmother or mother will look at their children and say no you can't. From today on you can do everything."

He did it. We did it. Now hopefully we can work together and heal this country. Return it to its days of glory.

Well said, Fatima!!!! 😆 I didn't notice at first that this will make history until people on TV kept mentioning it because I wasn't really voting for color!!!! I voted for democrat (like we always do) because it shouldn't be about color!!!! I hated the thought of getting another George Bush as President!!! So this all worked out wonderfully!!!! This made history and a new change for the better!!! I'm so happy, my heart feels proud that Obama won today and I voted for him too!!!😳 I think anything is possible now!!! Next election I hope to see a woman president!!!😉

Haila! I was going to make this topic too! I am watching him right now making his speech and I am stop crying!!!! Omg...:: sigh:: he is amazing!!! I can't sleep I am too happy!!! ahhhhhh!!!! YES WE CAN!!!! Yes, we have hope now! we will recontruct and move forward!!! tooo happy to explain!

God, his speech!!! so much focus, the soberness in this speech!!! the calmness!!! love him!!! he is amazing.

I can't stop crying...I am just so happy. I am not happy because my party won. But I worked for this. I wanted this. I prayed for this. I believed in this. I believe we will actually fix everything now. we have suffered one bad thing after another and now with God's blessing and the right leader we will move forward.

This means a lot to me. Everyday in life we try to do something and someone say you can't. This proves you can. I hope from now on no one ever says they can't. Because this is not some fairytale story. We have seen it happen right infront of our eyes. One can fight against all odds and make it happen!

I cried more during the speech! he is just such a good strong man. I love how he loves his wife and children! He truly deserved it. he fought hard! He gave it all he had!

I know my tears are not stopping even now!!! I have watched this speech more than 2 times!!! he is amazing! there are no words. Finally, change has come into America. his policies, everthing!!! how he said that he will the president of those that did not vote for him, and he will listen to them. Ahhh...deserved it to the core.

Yeah, they looked good on stage when they came in as a family!!! His kids are cute!!! His wife is pretty!!! Definitely a good-looking family!!!! I can't wait to see a lot of changes in store for us!! 😃
