Adesh took a dig at Rahat fateh Ali Khan

Did everyone else miss it?

When Seomen sang Main Jahaan Rahoon and Adesh had to comment, he said something to the affect of "some parts of the song, you sang so well that even the original singer wouldn't be able to sing like you did live"

I was lyk LOL is this guy for real? Comparing some mediocre contestant to RFAK. Has he not heard him live? ahhhhh ignorance is bliss i suppose.

Also, if I am not wrong, didn't he also make another minor snide remark after Zaheer sang Afreen Afreen , about how the song is nothing special? I was preoccupied with something at the time and I am not too sure if he said that. Can someone clarify please.

Aadesh is one insecure dude. he did give a very mean comment on afreen afreen 'there's nothing in this song' something like that. Zee needs to do something about him otherwise he might go crazy.probably he needs a doctor.

but when shafqat amanat ali came on stage, you had to see aadesh face. He just sat there with a sheepish smile on his face.but then shafqat amanat is one tall bulky dude so aadesh would think twice before uttering frivolous comments.

Why do you guys jump to the wrong conclusion ? I do not think Aadesh said anything offensive about anyone. With regards to the song he said that Soumen sang it well in parts and not well in parts.

Yes Rheemji the comment about songs not being challenging enough or allowing scope to show a contestant's talent has beem made several times to several contestants.

Plus that song is sung by RFAK and Krishna (the high notes part), so even if he says that, why do you assume that he said this about the RFAK part and not Krishna ? I do not see anything wrong in his comments.

I suppose RFAK is the only singer from accross the border who has the most love and respect amongst the Indian music community.

With regards to Zaheer, well Afreen Afreen is not as challenging a song as some of the other which he has sung. I agree with that part. There are plenty songs which are popular but not challenging from the singing POV. No harm in mentioning that, its good to pick songs which have scope to show your talent.

Even in Idol, some contestant sang - Bijuria & Tu uuu Kab yeh mangi by Sonu Nigam and the same comment of it not being challenging enough was passed, which is 100% true. That does not mean that Javed Akhtar was insulting Sonu Nigam.

These guys who criticise all day to Adesh, Himesh, or Abhijit either they are crazy and has nothing to do or Pakistanis. They come to India to money but still hate India who gives them so many opportunities. And their supporters (too many in this forum) never praise indian composers or singers . They look forward for even a minute opportunites to crticise us. I dont think one way friendship is good for us. I know all are comming on me but who cares.

adesh is a jerk🤢 thatzz the only thing that i can say abt him.
