| There was much sisterly love and familial bonding on Nach Baliye 4. No, it was not the contestants who were indulging in PDA but the Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena, who hogged the limelight. Dressed in identical Manish Malhotra outfits, they both looked stunning. The episode began with Karisma trying to pass off as Kareena and vice versa. This act was apparently part of a promotional activity for Kareena's. Golmaal Returns. However, it was a very silly act as the Kapoor sisters are not identical twins. And even in the case of twins-when Alina and her sister Sana tried to fool the Bigg Boss gang, they were instantly found out. The normally reticent Karisma couldn't stop gushing about her sister and even performed a special act on Kareena's hit number, It's rocking. Wonder whether this was a ploy to woo producers since Karisma has been dying to return to the big screen. Anyway, this promptly called for another round of gushing, when the two sisters expressed their love for each other. An obviously amused Farah Khan couldn't take this syrupy act anymore she decided to express her love for Arjun who promptly returned the same. With the judges themselves performing so dramatically, the poor contestants were rather sidelined. But unlike the Nach Baliye contestants, the new crop of singers on Indian Idol 4 are really talented. In fact, this week was the girls round and most of them performed so well, that an excited Sonali Bendre kept repeating that this year's winner will be a girl. On the other show, Star Voice of India, Celina Jaitley and Tusshar Kapoor were invited to promote Golmaal Returns. Celina was dressed in a gorgeous designer sari with a bindi and played the coy maiden to the hilt. Looks like Bollywood stars have literally taken over the small screen because virtually all the news channels were showing joint interviews of Sunny Deol and Salman Khan, who were promoting their movie, Heroes. The interviews were silly as most of these TV journos are so star struck that they ask stupid questions and make a fool of themselves. |
