Vidya Balan - The Beauty Queen Ditches Sooraj Barjatya

This may sound shocking but it is actually true that Vidya Balan ditched Sooraj Barjatya at the last minute ! Rajshri Productions' Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi was to star Vidya Balan in the lead opposite Bobby Deol originally. But now the November 7th releasing film has Eesha Koppikar along with Sonu Sood playing the main lead. So what went wrong?

Our sources revealed, "Sooraj Barjatya had approached Bobby Deol and Vidya Balan for his written film Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi being directed by debutante Kaushik Ghatak. They both had given their consent for the film. But then though Bobby initially found the family oriented subject appealing, as the days progressed he developed cold feet. He excused himself out of the film citing dates problem.

Sooraj had hoped that he would find a suitable actor in the A list to play the romantic lead opposite Vidya. But as that didn't look to materialise, Vidya chickened out of the project preferring to do Kismat Konection along with Shahid.

Sooraj was then left with no option but to rope in small names like Eesha Koppikar and Sonu Sood to stop the film getting stalled even before it was about to be shot!"

Well it's their loss then, because I've noticed that whoever stars in Suraj Barjaatiya movies usually end up becoming a hit in many households, as Barjatiya movies are family oriented movies. I think Isha Koppika is going to become very popular after this movies, since she's playing a homely girl, instead of a sexy siren.

This is going to skyrocket Eesha and Sonu's careers!

I find this really untrue i can see vidya being selected her names been said for the next film but bobby of all people as prem i am not seeing it happen

thk God he was saved frm da disaster called BOBBY DEOL...dis dude is known for giving flops..just his name n many ppl stay away frm da movie thinkin it mite be crap n especially when hez a solo hero..omg jst image his previous solo films..chamku..bardaasht...kismat...nanhe jaising..no one wanna watch him in a solo hero film..i prefer sonu..i strongly feel hez a really good actor..he was awesome in SIK..n im sure he will be really gud in ek vivaah as well..he is a gud actor n is red hot as well..esha on da other hand is equally gud..atleast we'll c sum good outfits..so in a way dats a gud thing..
