heros v/s villains

I've felt in Ekta's Mahabharat, the villains outshine the heros (except shakuni)..ekta has selected better & good looking actors for the roles of villains and ordinary actors for the role of heros..of course exceptions are always there..among pandavas i feel yudhistir and bheem are good and rest all are just average...duryodhan and karna, well one can't hate them....and i was shocked to see a not very ill-mannered shishupal !! i thot he was very arrogant and loud whereas in ekta's MB he seems to be a good boy...if someone doesn't know who shishupal was, they can never guess he was a villain...
