Returning home after a long and hectic schedule of his home-production Kites, Hrithik Roshan decided to spend some quality time with his family. And what better occasion than his wife, Sussane's birthday last Sunday to let his hair down? Hrithik invited the crme-de la crme of Bollywood to join him to wish Sussane a very happy birthday.
It so happened that we were passing by Hrithik's house (Palazzo Apartments in Juhu) and noticed some heavy duty lighting and music emanating from the house. The buzz at the Roshan house set us into a fact-finding mission. In fact, the flats of Rajesh Roshan and Rakesh Roshan who occupy the top three floors in the building - floor 8, 9 and 10, (see pic), were also lit up.
So what did the guest list read like? Among a host of Bollywood biggies there were Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Karan Johar, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Neelam, Yash Chopra and Uday Chopra.
Our source from Bollywood who attended the party said, "Every year, Hrithik celebrates Sussane's birthday in great style. Unlike the past years, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherji were conspicuous by their absence this year.
Shah Rukh couldn't make it as he was in Dubai. Yashji came in for 10-15 minutes only. Abhishek and Aishwarya stayed late and it was good to see the couple enjoying themselves. Recently, both of them have had a stressful time because of their fathers' illness and it was time that they had a night out."
The party that began at 11 pm wound up only after 2.30 am. Our source close to the Roshans said, "It was great to see the superhero, Hrithik, in a family-man avatar, letting his hair down and shaking a leg to some racy numbers."
