Hi Friends,

All of us have our favorite teachers who just seem to be the best teachers in the world. And then there are some teachers that all of us have had who didn't click so much and we could hardly wait for the class to end..

What I want to know is what according to you are the best attributes of a Good teacher. So think about all the great teachers you've had. What are some things that you liked about them.. Think about some of the not-so-great teachers we have had... think about what made you not like them so much...

Please think about the bigger picture here.... don't say that the teacher who doesn't give a lot of homework is a great teacher... think bigger than that some more universal attributes... like I can say one of my favorite teacher was just exceptional in her knowledge of the field and she had the ability to pull everyone together and spark their interest in even the least interested and dry material!

One of my favorites is my high school Physics teacher. Now I am not a big fan of Physics. But he was energetic and enthusiastic about the subject that you can't help but be interested. He had an answer to absolutely everything. Along with Physics, he would leave ten minutes at the end of the class for "digression topics." And in that time, we could ask him anything related to science, and he would have an answer.

^^^ Oh this is awesome! I don't like Physics either but in my senior year which was last year my Physics teacher was awesome too! I just loved to go to the class... he was more of a friend, you could joke around with him and he will never mind.. He never minded anything.

My fav teachers are ones that are :

1. so enthusiatic about their subject that you also

enjoy learning the subject like my history teacher , before i used to hate history now its my fav and best subject and i might be doing it for my A levels😃

2. are always fair to students when it comes to rules

3. teachers who aren't intimidating😆

Talking about my teachers i will definitely 1st of all mention about my Bengali literature teacher..she was simply AWESOME!!...when we 1st attended her class on the beginning of our 11th,we were really excited as we heard so much abt her but we all really was thinking what was she talking abt..it seemed weird to us..but after attending some classes we became HUGe fan of her & we used to wait for her class evey week..she never only taught whats wriiten on text books but she always use to find some facts frm that lesson that are related to our lives..at first we used to think she keeps talking abt unnecessary things but soon we realised what she taught was lessons for our lives & all those lessons have tremendously helped us in our lives..she is great, she has so much energy & a spark in herself & the power of controling students as she never scolded us but the way she looked or frm her voice we could know what she wanted to say..she was a great adviser & we could ask her any questions related to studies or our life problems..So I just love her!!
