Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here, obviously, but I'd just like to take some time out, to say a happy diwali to all of you who take time to read my topics and also to those who respond....its so nice....

So to all of you Happy Diwali, I hope all of you have an amazing new year with every hapiness in the world, enjoy yourselves, those of you who are in India Burn an extra fire cracker for me, but make sure its directed at the sky not at anyone's house or face or anything....and be safe......

and those of you who are like me, in a western country (ie. england, US, Canada, Australia) hope your doing your best to keep our culture alive and to keep those diyas burning through the day and night!! and Wear something cute and indian tonight after all its Diwali..... none of this kurta and jeans business, Wear a Saree or a Shervani....Go all out!...and try to stay awake til midnight even though no one else in your neighbour hood is or knows today's the day you are inviting the Great Maha Lakshmi into your House.

Hope you all have a great time and big good to your elders today, make sure they get to eat a boondi ke ladoo too!!!
