Poll - filmfare Best music 2008??

I personally think rock on, race and jaane tu should win,
but since "the great gulzar" has written for "mahabhagvan rahman" , filmfare will probably do the same thing - mess it up, give it to guru all because arr "dreamt" the song... instead of v/s for om shanti om or life in a metro...😡

hey this is a great poll...for me its between jaane tu and yuvvraaj...

yeah maybe jaane tu will win..
but rock on was #13 in the world, so i wouldn't count it out.

Race - Candy fluff annoying overplayed junk, the fact that the songs are plagiarized doesn't help its case.

Singh is King/Jannat/Golmal - See above. Fashionable disposable typical Pritam songs. Do not Want

Jaane Tu - Kabhi Kabhi Aditi is a good song but the rest are meh situational songs that were okay in that overrated movie but i wouldn't listen to it on my ipod

Jodha Akbar - Gets my vote. I love the whole soundtrack, I have listened to it so many times. Love each and every track.

Yuvraj- ain't heard yet. I like AR Rehman's compositions mostly so I will get ahold of this album sometime

BAH, Tashan - Some good songs but not as good as Jodha Akbar on the whole

Rock On - From what I have heard, none of it appeals to me. If I want a rock album, I will listen to the real deal albums not manufactured desi stuff no disrespect

Race - might win, but mainly due to pehli nazar..
Singh is kinng - due to punjabi mania (ishmeet's win*, mauja mauja craza,singh is kingh craze) the voters might vote

Jaane tu - nice "youth music".. so it might win

Jodha- im pretty sure it'll win.. but also due to javed - ashutosh- rahman-lagan factor

Tashan - nice but highly unlikely

Yuvraj - the music is dull,drab and dry but might win due to gulzaar factor

Rock on - its innovative for indian cinema i guess.. i quite liked it and its #13 worldwide.. so maybe..

I like Only Karzzz Musiq.....

Race, SIK, Jannat, Golmaal Returns are standard Pritam fare so they're out for me. All too conformist. Too Jab-We-Met style - nice when you hear them a couple of times but not the whole time on every damn channel / radio station as Mrs Ackles said lol.
Rock On is okay but not that awesome. It just made a mark because it's the "first" desi rock album.
Tashan is bad. Can't stand most of the songs apart from a couple.
Bachna Ae Haseeno is nice but not in the same league as Yuvraaj, JTYJN and Jodhaa Akbar.
JTYJN: Nice, youthful, peppy music. Might win, except that a couple of songs are just average. But the rest are great.
Jodhaa Akbar: Refreshing songs, Rahman tag might cause them to win.
Yuvraaj: Again, a very refreshing style used by Rahman but it might not win because the songs really take time to grow on you. Kind of like Jodhaa Akbar songs.
