Indian Idol 2 ..no no MUMBAI IDOL 1...

I agree with some of the comment posted, I am a NRI & I love watching talent hunt programs. I was in US & then moved to Singapore & now staying UK. I watched II1, AMERICAN IDOL, SINGAPORE IDOL, X-FACTOR (UK) & currently I am watching II2. I am very dispointed the way program is telecasted. The programs look more like a MUMBAI IDOL than Indian idol. All the competent shows most of the times from Mumbai.... we don't know most of the them except few MUMBIA BHAI/BAHAN..... Indian Idol 1 was better than this second. I don't know why SONY is moving so fast …..may be wants to catch SA RE GA MA PA 2005 on ZEE…… The episodes moved so fast that even the comments not placed properly.....surprisingly we already in the last 28 & we don't know most of them.....friends in the forum please stop judging them based on program telecasted ....I am sure there are few better than those shown most of the time......if some one have some thing to share about the last 28 please do…..lets judge them again………

How many season have you watched of American Idol? Have you seen the producers get their ways & shoved their fave's in the publics faces? In American Idol 2 Ruben Studdard & Clay Aiken got more air time than any other contestant. Did you watch AI3? AI3 was ALL about Miss Fantasia Barrino. Same with AI4 Carrie got the MAX coverage.
What happens in Indian Idol is no different was happens all over the world in Idol shows. The producers pick their faves & give them maximum air time. Yes, I agree that the show has been a tad bit rushed up but thye have to wrap up the show in a certain amount of time period & thats why they have to move at breakneck speed.
As far as I am concerned II1 was a complete trainwreck. It had some terrible finalists, which I will not name. There were barely 2-3 good singers.
