Big flop?
A little birdie tells us that the Anil Ambani-owned Big Pictures bought Karzzzz for Rs 40 crore purely for emotional reasons. Karz was Tina Munim's film, remember? But now it looks like they won't recover that money. A leading trade magazine reports that Himesh Reshammiya's film has got an average opening of 15-20 per cent. Let's hope they wait a while before having success parties, like Hello (who fared just as badly, if not worse) did last week.

B-town's Tandoori mama
We have heard of the ever popular Chanda Mama and the ever famous Kallu Mama... and now the latest to hit B-town is Tandoori Mama.
The story goes that during the screening of Himesh Reshammiya's latest release Karzzzz, a kid asked his mother about who the actor on screen was. But instead of the mother, a person from the audience announced the answer out loud; he addressed the actor on screen as 'Tandoori Mama'.
Now that, we feel, is a nice way to introduce the music director-actor from whom comes the chartbuster song... Tak Tana Nana Tandoori Nights !
